Liverpool fans hail 'perfect deal' for Fabio Carvalho as he closes in on shock loan transfer | The Sun

LIVERPOOL star Fabio Carvalho is close to joining RB Leipzig on loan, according to reports.

The attacking midfielder had a tough first season at Anfield after joining from Fulham for £7.7million.

Carvalho helped the Cottagers earn promotion from the Championship in 2021 but started only eight games for Liverpool last season.

The 20-year-old is now sent for a loan spell in the search for more regular first-team football.

Reports suggest an agreement between Liverpool and RB Leipzig is close to being completed.

A medical is set to take place in the coming weeks ahead of the transfer.

RB Leipzig have a reputation for nurturing young players and fans believe the move is ideal for the Portugal Under-21 star.

One said: "Such a perfect deal. can’t wait to see him develop over there."

Another reacted: "Good opportunity for him, when he did play he showed signs of his potential.
