The Reds right back hits an incredible crossfield pass that launches a promising attack.
He receives the ball under pressure, but gets the ball out of his feet and pings it the width of the pitch with ease.
The chance ends with a Salah chance on the edge of the box, but again Raya saves easily.
Brentford’s defenders appear to be arguing about something, they’re not happy with the space Liverpool are getting in the middle of the park.
The Bees out-muscled Liverpool in their January victory, but it’s been a different story tonight.
Klopp’s men have looked more physical than the visitors, beating them to second balls and bullying the front line a touch.
Salah bundles it in for his 100th goal at Anfield!
Good pressure around the Brentford box before a wonderful ball from Fabinho to Van Dijk in the box.
The centre back heads it down for Salah, who needs a couple of goes but bundles it in to the roof of the net.
The Reds left back whips a wonderful ball in from the right wing but Konate fails to attack it as he might have done.
Liverpool win a corner shortly afterwards. It works it’s way to Salah on the edge of the box but his shot is tame and easily caught by Raya.
The home side are slightly on top at the moment but this Brentford side are excellent on the break.
The Liverpool number four has been booked for an unusually rash challenge.
He went to ground unnecessarily and will have to be careful for the rest of the game now.
Liverpool have looked to control the ball in the opening minutes but will have to watch Brentford on the counter.
Salah tries to work the ball into Jota from outside the box but Henry showed excellent pace on the right and almost forced his way into the box.
It comes to nothing, but something to watch out for.
We’re underway at Anfield!
Brentford kick off first as they chase down a famous double.
The anthem is met by boos and shouts of Liverpool from all around.
Jordan Henderson is singing along but generally it is being drowned out by fans making their feelings known.
It is followed by a chorus of You’ll Never Walk Alone, which is belted out around the ground with typical gusto.
The players have walked out, deep breaths as we prepare for the national anthem.
It’s still unclear how the home fans will react on Coronation day.
Some final words from Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool aim for a sixth win in a row.
Brentford have never done the double over the Reds in a league season.
Kick off is approaching in what should be a fascinating game on Merseyside.
All eyes will be on the stands as the National Anthem is played before kick-off, but Liverpool’s focus will be on getting the win that would move them within a point of Manchester United.
Brentford will be hoping they can bully their way through the Reds back four in the way they did in West London earlier this year.
Liverpool were beaten comprehensively by Brentford in the reverse fixture butt will be brimming with confidence this afternoon.
They are unbeaten in their last seven and have lost just one league game at Anfield all season, with 12 wins in 17 home games so far.

The Anfield faithful may choose to sing a different anthem to the one played on the speakers this evening, writes Dominic King.
A packed Kop signing You’ll Never Walk Alone is among the most stirring sights in football, and could be heard from Reds fans this afternoon.
Jurgen Klopp has insisted he agrees with Liverpool’s decision to play God Save the King ahead of kick off this afternoon.
There has been anger at the decision from fans and fears the anthem may be booed.
The national anthem was generally well observed when it was played at Premier League games ahead of the 3pm kick offs at Bournemouth, Man City, Wolves and Tottenham.
Sections of the Liverpool fanbase have a history of booing the anthem, though, and it remains to be seen how they will react this afternoon.
Even Jurgen Klopp has admitted that Liverpool fans may only remember this season for their 7-0 demolition of Manchester United, but the Reds have found some form in recent weeks.
They have won each of their last five Premier League games, and now sit just four points behind fourth place Manchester United with four games left to play.
Untied have a game in hand, meaning they would have to drop points in a relatively straightforward run-in to allow Liverpool past them, but a win for Klopp’s side today would keen the pressure on their arch-rivals.
Brentford sit ninth in the Premier League after an impressive season, although their recent form has been patchy.
Their past five games have seen two wins, two losses and a draw, a spell that has seen Ivan Toney notch his 20th Premier League goal of the season.
They will be buoyed by an impressive 3-1 win in West London earlier this year, but Liverpool will present a tougher challenge at Anfield.
