MANCHESTER CITY and Liverpool have been joined in the race to sign Leroy Sane, according to reports.
It was reported last week that City were considering a shock move to sign their former star.
In doing so they were set to go toe-to-toe with the Reds after a spike in his form for Bayern Munich this season.
However, fresh reports in Spain reveal LaLiga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid are also in the running.
According to Sport, Bayern could look to cash in on Sane in the summer with his contract expiring in 2025.
The report indicates there has been no agreement between the German and his club over a contract extension.
