Man City vs Leeds LIVE: Hosts make seven changes to take on a visiting Leeds side without Illan Meslier

Joel Robles is in for Illan Meslier, but he’s going to have his work cut out this afternoon, in front of a back four that hasn’t actually played together all season yet.
Man City have won their last three clashes with Leeds with, well, alarmingly comfortable scorelines.
It’s 14-1 to the hosts today across those ties, coming in 4-0, 7-0 and 3-1 victories. Scary that City could score seven goals BEFORE adding Erling Haaland to the team.
It’s three on the bounce, but City needed 15 league meetings to register their previous three wins against the White before that, so there is some history for the visitors to draw on.
So wholesale changes from both teams this afternoon.
The hosts make seven changes from their midweek win over West Ham.
Meanwhile the big change from the visitors is in goal, with Robles coming in for a first Premier League start since 2017 for Meslier, who conceded over 20 goals in April.

Given we’re just a few minutes away from getting some teams, let’s take a look at what both managers had to say about selection in yesterday’s pressers…
Here they come then, Leeds are in the house at the champions – and more importantly the league leaders!
But will they finish the weekend there?
If the numbers are anything to go by, then it will be difficult for Leeds – Allardyce has played 34 games against City, losing 23.
Still, just shy of 33 per cent of the time he does take at least a point from the Citizens, and it won’t just be in Yorkshire that his name will be chanted from the rooftops if he can manage to do so again this afternoon.

Well if you hadn’t heard, Big Sam is back.
Allardyce has been appointed Leeds boss until the end of the season after Gracia’s tenure came to an end – on his birthday – and he certainly didn’t waste much time making his mark.
Take a look below for the details on his first press conference as manager at Elland Road, it was certainly a memorable one.
17 degrees, but a chance of thunder – very atmospheric feel at the Etihad this afternoon.
If the weather does turn a bit more apocalyptic later, you can expect plenty of puns.
Here’s a taster – Lightning may not strike twice, but Erling Haaland certainly does…
