United have had a strong start to pre-season, putting four goals past Liverpool and Melbourne Victory on their pre-season tour so far.
The Dutch boss is eager to maintain that momentum and take it into the new season after their dismal campaign last year.
But the early signs appear positive and punters have responded accordingly.
This is despite the ongoing absence of star man and last season’s top scorer Cristiano Ronaldo.
His future still remains up in the air as he trains alone in Lisbon away from the squad on their trip Down Under.

Betfair say United have attracted 27% of all single bets on the next Premier League winner market.
That percentage is more than Manchester City (11%) and Liverpool (7.4%) combined.
That backing is despite the Red Devils being a huge 25/1 to win the title this coming season.
Spurs are the next best backed, with 22.5% of all bets being placed on Antonio Conte’s men.
They have spent a considerable amount in the transfer market so far as they get set to test themselves against Europe’s elite in the Champions League this term.
With Harry Kane and Son Heung-min set to lead the line alongside new boy Richarlison, Spurs are third favourites to win the league with Betfair at 14/1 – ahead of Chelsea at 16/1.
City and Liverpool lead the way again at 8/13 and 12/5, respectively.
Arsenal have done their own good business this summer and 8.7% of bets with Betfair have been on the Gunners winning the league this year.
West Ham have had 3.8%, Newcastle 2.2% and Nottingham Forest surprisingly come next with 2% of all single bets.
Betfair spokesperson Sam Rosbottom said: “Manchester United have been the most backed team to win the Premier League title in the past seven days on Betfair.
“The Red Devils have received 27% of bets to finish top under Erik ten Hag, more than Man City and Liverpool combined.
“Looking at the overall odds, United are 25/1 to lift a first top-flight title since 2013, with Man City the clear 8/13 favourites.”
