MANCHESTER UNITED stars looked grim-faced as they touched down in Thailand for their pre-season tour.
The Red Devils are due to play rivals Liverpool in a friendly on July 12 at the Rajamangala National Stadium.
But as the United stars arrived to cheering crowds, the mood among the squad looked glum.
Fringe ace Donny van de Beek mustered a wave at the United-mad crowd.
The squad then posed for photos before taking off.
United will have to make do without star man Cristiano Ronaldo for the first part of their pre-season tour.

The 37-year-old rocked the Red Devils last week as he asked them to let him leave the club amid his frustrations over transfers and a lack of Champions League football.
Ronaldo, who is wanted in a £14million move by Chelsea, then did not return as expected for training on Monday.
He was given an extended leave of absence due to a family issue.
It remains to be seen whether he joins up with them out there at a later date.

Ronaldo will escape punishment for missing the club's summer tour.
The Daily Star state the club “have the option of fining” him “because he is in effect breaking club rules by not fulfilling his contractual obligations” by not going on the trip.
After Man Utd's trip to Thailand, the squad will then travel to Australia.
Erik ten Hag's men will play Melbourne Victory on July 15, followed by Crystal Palace on the following Tuesday.
To end their tour down under, United will then play Aston Villa on July 23.
A trip to Norway to play Atletico Madrid and then a Ten Hag audition at Old Trafford against Rayo Vallecano will wrap up pre-season ahead of their Premier League opener against Brighton.
