    Agent Shaw

Luke Shaw has admitted to trying to convince some of his England team-mates to join him at Man Utd.

Harry Kane, Mason Mount and Declan Rice are just some of the Three Lions stars linked with switches to Old Trafford.

And Shaw is playing negotiator, saying: "I would love a few of them to join – I am not going to lie.

"I am speaking to them, telling them how good Manchester is, because I know their qualities.

"I know they are world-class players and they would be a massive help to us but I can only say so much. It is up to the club and whatever they decide, so we have to go from there."

    Ten Hag desperate for Mount

Erik ten Hag is supposedly 100 per cent committed to signing Mason Mount and he is his main target.

Chelsea are holding out for £70million with United already seeing an opening offer of a rumoured £40million turned down by the Blues.

Talks are going and the move is still likely to happen given Chelsea's willingness to sell a player with 12 months left on his contract and who is struggling to agree an extension.

    Good morning Man Utd fans

Man Utd may have found a replacement for No1 defensive target Kim Min-jae, who is on the verge of joining Bayern Munich.

According to Givemesport, the Red Devils have targeted Axel Disasi.
The French international would be interested in a move to the Premier League, the report adds.

The Athletic claim United are looking into adding Ollie Watkins to their squad.

The Red Devils want to sign two forwards this summer.

The Aston Villa striker scored 16 goals in all competitions.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be offered the opportunity to return to Manchester United,

However, this will only be if Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani’s takeover bid for the club is successful.

Sheikh Jassim had reportedly won the race to buy the Red Devils, but these claims were rubbished by sources close to the bid.

He has since been named as the director of a UK company called Nine Two UK Holdings amid the talks.

As reported in May, if his bid is successful the Qatari banker will look to offer club legends a position in the club’s hierarchy.

And former boss Solskjaer, who was sacked in November 2021, has hinted at a comeback “in some capacity”.

Luke Shaw has joked about attempting to lure transfer targets to Old Trafford while on international duty.

“There’s a few (players he is tapping up). It’s all a bit of banter really, we have a joke and a laugh about it,” Shaw said.

“I am not too sure what goes on behind the scenes, because it is to do with the club. But of course when we’re here and together we have a joke about it.”

The defender shared a hilarious snap with Declan Rice and Harry Kane on his Instagram story.

Man Utd have sent scouts to watch Jean-Clair Todibo, according to reports.

Fabrizio Romano has reported the French defender has been watched multiple times by the Red Devils.

Todibo is a centre half who currently plays for Nice in Ligue 1.

Man Utd are preparing a £45million deal for Jordan Pickford, according to reports.

The Daily Star claims Erik ten Hag is looking into buying a new shotstopper and the England No1 is top of his list.

It is claimed that it is unlikely that David De Gea will sign a contract extension.

    Mount move questioned

Ex-Chelsea defender Frank Leboeuf believes Mason Mount's move to Man Utd would be a sideways step.

He told ESPN: "If you want to move club, it’s because you think it’s a promotion. Here me well, I am not saying that Manchester United is at the same level as Chelsea, compared to last season.

"In terms of a club and what they want to achieve. I think there is only one club better than Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool. It’s Manchester City.

"I really think, if the player wants to move if he is available, then he has to look for something better, where he can get something out of it.

"So, I don’t understand the move of Havertz to Arsenal or Mount to Manchester United. Like I wouldn’t understand Christian Eriksen from Manchester United to Chelsea. That is the same level, for me."

    Ten Hag's Rice fury

Erik ten Hag is said to be furious that Man Utd's delayed takeover has stopped them from bidding for Declan Rice.

The Red Devils boss feels West Ham skipper Rice would be a perfect addition and has been desperate to make an offer.

But United’s protracted takeover drama has let Arsenal move into pole position for the England ace, 24.

Ten Hag’s spending is restricted while the Glazers decide whether to sell or stay put —  particularly as United are yet to offload any of the expensive dead wood in their squad.

Qatari Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad al-Thani is edging closer to winning the takeover battle.

But Prem chiefs would still have to complete the Owners’ and Directors’ Test which takes around ten days — meaning Ten Hag’s hands may be tied for at least another two weeks.
