MANCHESTER UNITED WILL be signing Casemiro, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has confirmed.
The Brazilian is set to have a medical THIS WEEKEND, ahead of a £50m move to Old Trafford.
United are also said to be keen on Antony, but Ajax have reportedly rejected a whopping £68m bid for the winger.
Meanwhile SunSport can reveal that Britain's richest man, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, is ready to plough his £15bn fortune into buying the club from the Glazers.
And Cristiano Ronaldo's start to the season has gone from bad to worse as Borussia Dortmund do not want to sign him.
Ronaldo is now said to have no options available if he wants to play Champions League football, unless he reconsiders the prospect of moving back to Lisbon to play for Sporting.

Juan that got away
Arsenal missed out on landing former Chelsea and Manchester United ace Juan Mata from Valencia in 2011, according to the club’s former transfer negotiator Dick Law.
Mata had agreed personal terms with the Gunners about making the switch to North London, but the club dithered over his price tag set by the LaLiga outfit.
Law told The Athletic: “Then we waited. Juan definitely wanted to come to Arsenal, there was no question about that.”
When asked if the Gunners ever considered paying above their valuation of a player, he declared that it was never spoken about.
Law added: “I don’t think that calculation ever entered our equation. We didn’t have the money to say, ‘We’ll spend a bit more'”

Ronaldo has made it clear he wants to leave Old Trafford this summer in search of Champions League football.

MUST on Ratcliffe
Manchester United Supporters' Trust have welcomed dialogue with Jim Ratcliffe amid his interest to take over from the Glazers.
Pressure has grown on the Glazers to sell with United fans protesting in vast numbers in recent years.
Responding to Ratcliffe's interest, MUST wrote: "Speculation is mounting about a potential change of ownership or new investors at Manchester United.
"Whilst supporters have called for change, of course this has to be the right change.
"Any prospective new owner or investor has to be committed to the culture ethos and best traditions of the club.
"They have to be willing to invest to restore United to former glories, and that investment must be real new money spent on the playing side and the stadium"

More from Stam
Jaap Stam added about Lisandro Martinez: “He’s struggling in the aerial battles. You don’t need to be very tall to be a good centre-back, even in the Premier League, if you’re clever enough, then you can handle a lot of situations.
“But you can see with set-pieces, which are becoming a very big thing in football, especially in the Premier League, you need to be able to fight in the air and to win your aerial battles.
“You see in the games against Brentford and Brighton, if the opposition is playing long balls, they’re going to play them on him, because the majority of times he’s going to lose it.
“If Ten Hag is keeping Martinez on the pitch, they need to find a solution to handle that. Otherwise, it’s going to happen over and over again”

Stam on Martinez
Manchester United legend Jaap Stam discussed Lisandro Martinez’s pint-sized height.
Stam told Safe Betting Sites UK: “I always said it from the start, when he went to United, I said, ‘They’re probably going to be talking about his height’.
“It’s a common thing in the Premier League that teams are looking for centre-backs that are strong and big because of the physical part of the game.
“Bringing him in, it’s a challenge for him. It’s going to be interesting how he is adapting. Already people are criticising him — and the coach a little as well about bringing him in — because of his height”

Silvestre slams players
Manchester United hero Mikael Silvestre claims current Red Devils players "give up too early".
Silvestre told bettingexpert: “They [the players] give up too early.
“We’ve been speaking about the X factor for players signing for United, but right now, United needs fighters, and to focus on the mindset of the players, rather than on the technical abilities.
"The technical ability, of course, you’ve got to have a certain standard at United.
“They need to fight at all moments right now. Everybody needs to fight. Only players with the right attitude can help United regain some sort of self-confidence to gain the results”
- Kostas Lianos
A "collective failure"
Manchester United hero Mikael Silvestre believes his former club is currently a "collective failure".
Silvestre told bettingexpert: “There are many, many elements that are missing, and we can’t blame one department of the club rather than another.
"It is a collective failure at the end of the day.
"And even if it is early in the season, there is a pattern that comes from the end of the last season that is repeating itself again”
- Kostas Lianos
Glazers' Silves lining
Manchester United hero Mikael Silvestre suggested the Glazers are not to blame for everything that's wrong with the club.
Silvestre told bettingexpert: “The owners are not on the pitch.”
“We have a lot of people criticising the way the club is being run, but I think all managers have been backed financially, and they were given resources to buy players. Their wage bill is huge now.”
“The question now is, how is it being handled? With the recruitment process and also the Manchester United spirit, that’s what was missing."
"The spirit against Brentford was non-existent. Only one team was fighting as a team. Manchester United, individually and as a team, was nowhere near what Premier League commitment requires”

Neville slams United
Gary Neville has blasted the "unforgivable" manner in which Manchester United have been allowed to fall behind rivals City and Liverpool "on and off the pitch".
Appearing on Steven Bartlett's The Diary of a CEO podcast, Neville blasted the Glazer family for allowing United to "rot" over the last two decades.
He said: "I used to laugh when I went to Anfield and compared it to Old Trafford.
"I'd always think 'they can never catch up, they're too far behind'.
"They're building that second stand now behind the goal where the away fans sit. The main stand now is towering up.
"Anfield will be a more modern ground than Manchester United and Old Trafford in 12 months. That is unforgivable."

That's the view of football reporter Alex Crook, he said: "You’d probably think if you were Eric Bailly that Aston Villa would be a better move.
“I just wonder if Gerrard will be willing to take that big a risk on a player who’s had injury problems himself.
“But, if you’re looking internally, then he is probably the best and most accessible option.”
