Harry Kane blow
Bayern Munich are Tottenham superstar Harry Kane's "preferred destination".
That is according to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, who reports Bayern are planning the "next steps" to sign Kane.
Plettenberg added that the star striker is the Bundesliga champion's top target.
A deal is still difficult but the Bavarians are confident they can land the England captain for less than £100million.
The 29-year-old has been Manchester United's priority target but his release clause has halted their bid.

Man Utd target starlet
Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign Watford starlet Harry Amass.
Amass, 16, signed an early scholarship deal to keep him at Vicarage Road until he is 18.
As a result, it means United will have to pay compensation to the Hornets under the Premier League’s Elite Player Performance Plan.
According to Manchester Evening News, the left-back's transfer has not been "officially completed".
But a "deal has been agreed" between the two clubs as the England Under-16 international prepares to move to Old Trafford.

Roy Keane revelation
Manchester United legend Roy Keane would have been the club's manager today if he was a bit "cuter", claims fellow Treble great Dwight Yorke.
Asked what it was like to play under Keane at Sunderland, Yorke told AceOdds:
“It was great. I saw him as a potential manager [while playing alongside him at United], you know, just because of his great leadership and the respect that he gains within the dressing room, which is what you require to be a manager.
“I’ve said it time and time again, Roy Keane has all the potential to be a great manager and he should have been. But Roy Keane is his own problem, really.
“He’s his own problem, saying it as it is, you know, if he was a little bit more guided and a little bit more cuter in some of his approach, I think he would be the current manager of Man United today.
“Roy Keane lives and dies by the way he sees things and that’s fine. And when it goes your way it’s great. But I loved playing under Keano, loved my time being there [at Sunderland]. Getting to see the transition from him. I learned a lot. What to be like and what not to be like.”

Mason Greenwood reminder
Suspended Manchester United player Mason Greenwood’s mansion has been put up for let, reports SunSport's Ryan Parry and Richard Moriarty.
This poses as a strong suggestion Greenwood could soon be on the move away from United.
The six-bed, six-bath luxury house is being circulated privately among high-end agents for more than £15,000 per month.
The property, which is located in Bowdon, Cheshire, has a game room, a home office, a gym and staff accommodation and is billed as the “perfect family home”.
The centre-forward has not played since January last year — when he was arrested after a woman made allegations of physical and sexual abuse.
The 21-year-old was due to stand trial this year but the charges were dropped in February.

David de Gea boost
Manchester United manager star David de Gea's contract runs out on Friday.
According to The Mirror, however, United manager Erik ten Hag is reluctant to splash the cash on a new goalkeeper.
The Red Devils have told De Gea he will have to take a significant cut on his current £375,000-a-week wages to extend.
The Manchester giants' most recent offer is believed to be in excess of £200,000-a-week.
The Spain international's advisers feel their position will be strengthened as the clock ticks down over the coming days.

Moises Caicedo boost
Chelsea have told Brighton they will not pay Moises Caicedo's £80million release clause, in a boost to Manchester United's hopes.
According to The Times, the Blues have no intention of meeting Caicedo's asking price and are therefore blowing the race for the 21-year-old wide open.
The Ecuador international is said to be manager Erik ten Hag's top midfield target.
This comes after the Red Devils were rejected by Chelsea for a third time in their bid to sign Mason Mount.

Mason Mount hijack
Bayern Munich are looking to hijack Manchester United's bid to sign Chelsea star Mason Mount.
United have had three bids rejected by the Blues and are weighing up whether to walk away from negotiations for Mount.
The Red Devils believe the West Londoners' £65million valuation of the 24-year-old is too high.
That is why the Manchester giants are ready to look at other midfield options, such as Brighton star Moises Caicedo.
According to The Guardian, this has opened the door to Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel, who coached the England international at Stamford Bridge and is still a huge admirer.

Man Utd set to sign Watford youngster
Man Utd are set to sign Harry Amass from Watford.
The 16-year-old left-back comes highly rated at the Hornets, so much so that he was signed to a contract until he was 18.
As reported by Manchester Evening News, this means United will need to fork out compensation to get him.
He has featured for both Watford Under 18s and U21s, and is likely to play a part for England at the Under 17 World Cup later this year.

The Frenchman, who scored 15 goals and added 11 league assists, won the vote with 24.2 per cent in his favour.

David James tells Maguire to leave Man Utd for good of England career
Premier League icon David James has told Harry Maguire to leave Manchester United for the good of his England career.
Maguire has seen his game time heavily limited under Erik ten Hag this season, with Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate warning he cannot continue to pick him without getting regular minutes.
But former England goalie James has told Maguire to follow his footsteps and leave a big club to preserve his spot in the national team.
Speaking to King Casino Bonus, James said: "Harry Maguire might be happy there for lots of reasons, and he might believe that he can fight his way back into the starting XI. If that’s what he believes, then I believe he will stay.
"I didn’t want to leave Liverpool, I loved the club and I had been there for several years and I probably would have stayed forever in some capacity!
"When the opportunity came to join Aston Villa, it was my opportunity to join a fantastic club and do what I thought I was supposed to do – become a regular international player.
"If you look at the bigger picture, having players who aren’t playing regular, first team football, it poses the question to players – ‘What do I need to do to get into the team when I’m playing well and still not getting picked?’
"It changes the whole dynamics of selection, it changes the whole dynamics of the players outside of the group as well.
"I would like to think Harry is good enough to be a Premier League starter and also an England international player, but being there and justified on merit."

Liverpool enter Lavia transfer race
Man Utd have been joined in the race to sign Romeo Lavia by Liverpool, according to reports.

The Gunners are said to have been in negotiations for the deal over the last 15 days, but have not yet submitted a bid.
However, Fabrizio Romano has now reported Liverpool have entered the race to sign him.

Chelsea set to hold Osimhen transfer meeting after Napoli reveal price
Chelsea are set to hold a transfer meeting with the representatives of Man Utd target Victor Osimhen after Napoli named their price.
Osimhen is highly sought-after with Liverpool and Real Madrid other notable parties interested in his services.
However, the Nigerian forward will not be cheap, with Gianluca Di Marzio reporting the Serie A champs have set a £128million price tag on Osimhen's head.
And following this, Football.London now claim a meeting is in the works between Todd Boehly's stricken Blues and Napoli.
Like Chelsea, United are in the market for a new striker, but have cheaper options on their list due to pressing demands in other areas of the squad.

Andy Cole has say on David de Gea future
Man Utd legend Andy Cole has had his say on David de Gea's future at the club.
United are understood to be in the market for a new goalkeeper, and are currently at an impasse with De Gea over terms for a new deal.
The clocking is ticking down with the Spaniard's deal running out at the end of the month, but Cole believes United need to keep him.
Speaking to Genting Casino, he said: "This is my point of view on the David de Gea situation.
"A goalkeeper is meant to keep the ball out of the net, but they can make mistakes, as midfielders do when they misplace a pass or strikers when they miss chances.
"Footballers are humans, not robots, and **** happens. When we say that goalkeepers have to be brilliant with their feet, that's all some people look at rather than their actual shot-stopping ability.
"If Erik ten Hag wants to keep him but only as the backup goalkeeper, then the new number one coming in has to be top draw."

COMMENT: Premier League clubs flying miles for friendlies makes a mockery of bosses’ fixture moans
The bleating about too many matches is one racing certainty for next season.
But before Prem bosses start to moan, they maybe need to look at the real killer schedule they have ALREADY signed up to.
Just the 64 matches, in 15 countries, in the space of 26 days.
Top-flight teams crisscrossing the world more than SIX times between them — and clocking up a staggering 170,000 air miles.
Before a serious ball has been kicked. Players being run ragged? Too many matches? A danger to health? Absolutely . . . 100 per cent.
But the reality is that this season’s summer-friendly calendar shows, once again, that when it comes down to it, what really matters to club chiefs is cash.

EXCLUSIVE: PFA backs Rashford and slams hectic fixture schedule
Rashford spoke of his worries ahead of England’s latest Euro 2024 qualifiers.
He said: “It is mad that, at club level, we are playing three games a week from November until we get knocked out of Europe.
“It is difficult but I am not the one who has to have the answers.
“In the early stages of my career I couldn’t make sense of it. Some managers have spoken out against it.
“If one team plays 60 games a season and another 38, there has to be some time to recover for the team playing 20 more.”

EXCLUSIVE: PFA backs Rashford and slams hectic fixture schedule
Players’ welfare is under serious threat from football’s “mad” calendar, union bosses fear.
Prem clubs will play at least 64 summer friendlies in 15 countries over 26 days BEFORE the new season starts.

Manchester United’s England striker Marcus Rashford insists the number of games in a season is already too high.
And PFA chief executive Maheta Molango warned: “A properly co-ordinated approach to the football calendar is needed to address the growing pressure being placed on players. They themselves are saying their wellbeing has to be prioritised.”
West Ham and England midfielder Declan Rice played 61 times for club and country last season.

But Chelsea want £65m for their academy graduate.
And now United could spectacularly miss out on Mount – because Bayern Munich are reportedly stepping up their interest.
