Ronaldo's time is up
Cristiano Ronaldo will never pull on a Man Unites shirt again, Piers Morgan reckons.
Ronaldo's made it clear he wants to leave Manchester this summer, and Piers highly doubts the striker will have a change of heart.
The Sun columnist reached that conclusion after having a few convos with the footballing megastar over the past few weeks.
Piers revealed to talkSPORT: "I have had quite a lot of contact in the last week. I certainly think it'd be highly unlikely if Cristiano Ronaldo plays another game for Manchester United.
"I just think mentally he's moved on. I'm not going to say what we've said to each other but like I said from the start I don't think Cristiano feels Manchester United share his ambitions.
"I think he feels that the signings they're making, the commitment they showed last season, where they finished up and a lack of Champions League football."
Man United tipped for title
Man United have been tipped to lift the Premier League title this season after their heroics against Liverpool in Thailand.
The Red Devils thumped rivals Liverpool 4-0 in a pre-season clash under new boss Erik ten Hag.
And their form during the match has given fans hope that Ten Hag will deliver the Prem next season.
According to Betfair, United have attained 27 percent of all bets on the title race since the game.
While opponents Liverpool’s stock has plummeted to 7.4 percent, and United’s neighbours Manchester City secured 11 percent of the votes.
Eriksen’s in for a shock
Man United new boy Christian Eriksen's got another thing coming if he expects regular game time at Old Trafford next season, Danny Murphy reckons.
Eriksen completed a free transfer to the Red Devils following a loan spell with Brentford last season.
But his time on the pitch will be limited as United won’t play him alongside Bruno Fernandes in the upcoming campaign, according to Murphy.
Murphy explained on talkSPORT: “I think United are only going to play with one No.10.
“If you think you are going to get Eriksen and Fernandes in a midfield three and be able to compete with the best teams athletically and defensively, you have got no chance.
“He (Eriksen) will play his fair share of games because you do not have the same XI every week. I think it is five substitutions this season as well, so there will be impacts off the bench.”

De Jong delivers transfer blow
Man United’s transfer pursuit of Frenkie de Jong has been dealt a huge blow as the midfielder would prefer a move to Chelsea, reports claim.
United have agreed terms with Barcelona for the Dutch ace, but he’s resisting a move to Old Trafford.
And it’s now emerged that Chelsea are one of the only clubs he’s willing to leave Barcelona for, along with Bayern Munich.
That’s according to Sport who also revealed Barca are keen to offload De Jong in order to balance the books amid a swathe of new signings.
