CHELSEA have emerged as the odds on favourites to sign the Juventus centre back Matthijs de Ligt.
The Netherlands international has been linked with a move away from Italy and Sky Bet are pricing a move to Stamford Bridge at 8/11.

The Netherlands international joined Juventus in the summer of 2019, signing as a 19-year-old for £77m.
The season beforehand, the teenager had captained his Ajax side to the league title and the club's first Champions League semi-final appearance since 1997.
The 22-year-old helped Juventus to the Serie A title in his first season in Italy and has gone to make 117 appearances for the Old Lady.
Chelsea are desperate to sign a central defender or two this summer following the departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.
The departures leave just Thiago Silva, Malang Sarr, Trevoh Chalobah and Ethan Ampadu as first-team centre backs, so Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel is desperate for reinforcements and would like to sign the 38-time Dutch international.

It's also very possible that de Ligt could stay in Turin for another season or two.
The Dutchman's contract runs out in 2024 so the club may be keen to keep his services for as long as they can, despite rumours of de Ligt's intentions to leave.
Sky Bet are offering odds of 6/4 for the defender to stay put this summer.
Erik ten Hag was the Ajax manager when de Ligt helped the Dutch side to the semi-finals of the Champions League, and made the defender the club's youngest ever captain at 18 years old.
The Dutch manager has taken over at Manchester United this summer, who also had some difficulties in the centre-back department last season.
Naturally, there have been rumours of ten Hag and de Ligt linking up again, with Sky Bet pricing the move at 8/1.
Some of Europe's other heavyweights have also been linked with the young defender, such as Bayern Munich (20/1), Barcelona and PSG (both 25/1).
