MEDICS rushed to help a golf fan after they were hit in the head by a ball at The Open.
It is the second time this terrifying incident happened in the space of a day.
On this occasion the stricken fan was hit after a stray tee off shot by Zach Johnson at hole 12.
The dazed fan was treated by medics before being escorted away from the scene at the 151st Open.
In the first freak incident earlier today, a fan was left bloodied after they were hit on the head from a stray ball.
That occasion saw the spectator, named Christopher Ineson, smacked head on by Adam Scott's wayward shot.

Ineson was sent flying to the ground by the hit and was left so dazed he could not even recognise 43-year-old golfer Scott.
He even had a 3cm gash inflicted on the back of his head for the trouble.
On the unfortunate accident, he told the Daily Telegraph: "It was a drive off the 18th, full toss, it didn’t bounce.
"I heard the shout of 'fore' and everyone ducked. I saw my mate duck and then it hit me right on the back of the head."

5His friend, Rob Tufnell, added: “It sounded like a golf ball hitting mud or playdough.”
Aussie star Scott, who was branded good-looking recently by Paige Spiranac, went over to check on Ineson and then handed him a signed glove that read: “Sorry mate.”
