KJETIL KNUTSEN is the new favourite to become Brighton's next manager.
Bookmakers Betfair have slashed the odds of the Bodo/Glimt boss to replace Graham Potter who left for Chelsea.

Knutsen heads the market at 9/4 despite Bodo/Glimt's form of just one win in their last six.
Italian Roberto De Zerbi has also had his odds slashed down to a short 4/1 having been double figure odds.
He has been out of a job since quitting Shakhtar Donetsk earlier this year due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
Steve Cooper is another to have seen significant support in recent days and is third in at 11/2.
Cooper helped guide Nottingham Forest from the bottom end of the Championship table last season to promotion and a solid enough start in the top flight.
That despite a record-breaking 21 new signings in the summer transfer window.
He is amongst the favourites to be the next to leave his post but only due to the links with the Brighton job.
Nathan Jones and Russell Martin – both managing in the second tier – are next in at 8/1.
There has been conflicting reports on Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou and his chances of landing the job down south.
Despite this, it's understood he is happy in Glasgow given the project he currently has.
Though having drifted from favourite when the market opened to 14/1, Postecoglou is now a 10/1 shot.
Karel Geraerts (12/1) and Felice Mazzu (14/1) come next in the market.
Mazzu led Union-SG to an unlikely first place in the Belgian Jupiler League regular season before just being pipped to the Championship after the play-offs.

He has since replaced Vincent Kompany as the Anderlecht boss where he has been for three months.
Then it's Brendan Rodgers, who was favourite after Postecoglou's drift but he too has drifted significantly to 16/1.
Rodgers' Leicester have had a torrid start to the campaign and are rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table.
However, from the outside it appeared his hands are tied following the club's decision to sell Wesley Fofana for huge money and only bring in £15million man Wout Faes.
Having won the FA Cup and took the club into Europe, Rodgers would likely leave with the best wishes of the club, should he want the move south.
