Next Premier League manager sacked: Moyes odds-on favourite as West Ham discontent grows, Conte and Rodgers prices fall | The Sun

DAVID MOYES is the odds-on favourite to become the TENTH managerial casualty of the Premier League campaign.

That's according to bookmakers Ladbrokes, who've significantly altered their betting markets over the last 24 hours.

Moyes, 59, previously trailed Graham Potter.

But Chelsea's Champions League victory over Borussia Dortmund strengthened Potter's tenure and saw Moyes shorten to 4/6 to be the next top-flight boss relieved of his duties.

The Hammers suffered an embarrassing 4-0 defeat at Brighton last weekend, where they mustered just two efforts on target.

The result left West Ham in 16th position, and a single point above 18th-placed Everton inside the relegation zone.

The London outfit netted 60 goals last season when finishing seventh and reaching the Europa League semi-finals.

But despite heavy investment in the likes of Lucas Paqueta, Gianluca Scamacca and Nayef Aguerd — West Ham have scored just 23 goals in 25 matches.

The Guardian claim there's a 'growing discontent' in the West Ham dressing room with several players unhappy about the Scotsman's defensive tactics.

Declan Rice, the club captain, said after the Brighton game: "As a player I’m hurting. To be out there, it was demoralising, to stand there, to try to defend and see them keep the ball."

Antonio Conte is next at 5/1 with his relationship with Tottenham slowly dissolving and his contract to expire this summer.

Bournemouth's Gary O'Neil is next at 7/1, ahead of Brendan Rodgers and Graham Potter, who are both locked together at 8/1.
