ASTRID WETT has claimed Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino knew who she was as the pair met for the first time.

The boxing star is a Chelsea super fan and shared her excitement in meeting the Blues' boss on her Instagram.


She posted a photo of herself with the former Spurs gaffer to the social media platform where she boasts 434,000 followers.

Astrid shared the photo alongside the caption: "He said 'hello Astrid'".

Her post suggested that Pochettino knew who she was as he addressed her by name at the chance meeting.

Astrid is well known herself with her profile in the influencer boxing world rising fight by fight.

It's been a less exciting weekend for Pochettino himself after his team were on the receiving end of a battering at St James' Park.

Chelsea lost 4-1 to Newcastle with captain Reece James seeing red to add insult to injury for the mid table strugglers.

The England international will now miss their next game as Chelsea prepare to host Brighton at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
