Title race
We look set for another two-horse race in the battle for the ultimate Premier League honour this season.
Manchester City have recruited Norwegian superstar Erling Haaland, Julian Alvarez and England midfielder Kalvin Phillips over the summer.
The Citizens have won the last two top-flight titles largely without a recognised centre-forward, and Haaland's arrival could see an explosion of goals at the Etihad.
However, we're yet to see the impact of the departures of Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Fernandinho.
That quartet combined to play 92 matches, scored 23 goals and provided 20 assists in the successful 2021-22 Premier League campaign.
Pep Guardiola will desperately need £100million signing Jack Grealish to step up this term, along with his new attacking recruits, who've yet to be tested in English football.
The summer business has been altogether more sedate for Liverpool.
Yes, they've lost Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich, but Jurgen Klopp was delighted to see Luis Diaz effortlessly settle into life at Anfield.
Fringe players Neco Williams, Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi have departed, but none of the trio really helped the side to finish a single point behind their Manchester rivals.
Their settled squad and the addition of forward Darwin Nunez could therefore make Liverpool a good value bet.
Our pick: Liverpool to win the title – 9/4

Relegation
The relegation market has a familiar feel with all three newly-promoted clubs expected to battle bravely against the drop.
Scott Parker's Bournemouth are odds-on favourites at 4/7 to finish in the bottom three, but Fulham represent the better value pick at 11/8.
Most promoted clubs enter their opening games with optimism, but there's a significant lack of harmony around Craven Cottage.
The Cottagers have spent around £31million on Joao Palhinha, Andreas Pereira and Kevin Mbabu, while Manor Solomon has arrived on loan.
But Fulham are yet to strengthen in the centre of defence, with 34-year-old Tim Ream and Tosin Adarabioyo their only two senior players available.
And Silva is well aware of the deficiencies in the squad.
He said: "We, as a squad, are not ready. No one can compete at this level with 16 senior players in a squad.
"No one can prepare a season with two central defenders at this level. Everyone that understands football can see that we need at least five or six players. That is clear."
There's also pressure on centre-forward Aleksandar Mitrovic to finally deliver in the top flight.
The Serbian netted a colossal 43 goals in 44 Championship outings last season, but has just 24 in 104 Premier League appearances, with 11 his best ever return…
Our pick: Fulham to be relegated – 11/8

Golden Boot
Erling Haaland enters as the outright favourite to win the 2022-23 Golden Boot award.
And it's easy to see why. The Norwegian powerhouse has an incredible scoring record wherever he's been and is playing for a side who consistently threaten over 100 goals a season.
However, the striker missed 16 games across all competitions last season, and started 21 of Borussia Dortmund's 34 Bundesliga games.
His injury record paired with Pep's notorious rotation, could make three-time Golden Boot winner Harry Kane a great value pick at 11/2.
The England talisman recovered from a lacklustre start when Antonio Conte took charge, scoring 16 in 28 PL games.
And Spurs are likely to improve even more with some excellent attacking additions including Richarlison and Ivan Perisic.
Our pick: Harry Kane to win the Golden Boot – 11/2
Best of the rest…
Sky Bet have hundreds of other markets available, and we've picked out our best value favourites.
Leeds to receive most cards – 7/2
Leeds finished with 100 yellow cards last season, 22 more than second-placed Newcastle and Aston Villa.
Alisson to be the Golden Glove winner – 7/4
Alisson Becker secured the Premier League Golden Glove award last season having recorded 20 clean sheets in 36 appearances, sharing it with Ederson.
Deniz Undav to be Brighton's top goalscorer – 10/3
Brighton pinched Deniz Undav from Royal Union Saint-Gilloise over the summer, and we're backing him to succeed.
Last season Undav scored 26 goals in 39 games for the Belgian club, and reports suggest he's already ahead of Neal Maupay in the pecking order.
Liverpool (FUL, CRY, MAN) and Manchester City (WHU, BOU, NEW) both to win their first three PL games – 7/1
Last season's final day proves just how important every single point is, and clubs will want to maximise their tally ahead of the World Cup break.
Liverpool and Manchester City have already had the added bonus of a very competitive Community Shield clash.
