Premier League stadium looks incredible as new pictures show cranes on pitch and first seats installed | The Sun

EVERTON'S new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium looks incredible in the latest set of photos released by the club.

The pictures show that the Everton-blue seats are slowly beginning to fill up the once cavernous space as the stadium really begins to take shape.

Fans last week joked about the steepness of one of the stands – which is based on Borussia Dortmund's 'yellow wall'.

The stadium will have a single tier stand that will seat 13,000 fans and is designed to be as close to the pitch as possible – hence its steep gradient.

Upon completion, the stadium will have a capacity of 53,000 – which will make it the sixth largest stadium in the Premier League.

The stadium, which is located on the docks next to the river Mersey, will knock St James' Park down into seventh place as it has a capacity of 52,000.

Everton's current stadium, Goodison Park holds 40,000, and while it's one of the most iconic grounds in British football, is in need of an update.

Everton will move to their new luxury arena for the 2024-25 season and the stadium currently looks on schedule to be ready for their season opener.

Toffees fans will be hoping to avoid any delays similar to the ones that plagued Tottenham and led to them moving into their stadium in March of the 2018-19 season rather than their initially planned September date.

They'll also be hoping to christen the stadium while playing Premier League football next season.
