PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN and Real Madrid have reportedly agreed on a transfer move for Kylian Mbappe – but they are still a whopping £68million apart on the fee.
We reported earlier how PSG had issued their talisman with an ultimatum – sign an extension or you will be sold this summer.
That is after the French star rocked the club this month by informing them that he will not extend his deal.
Mbappe's contract with PSG, reportedly worth more than £500MILLION, runs out in 2024 but there is a clause that could see him stay until 2025 but the extra year is a player option.
That means , which means it is up to the forward whether he wants to trigger it or not.
The 24-year-old star sent the Ligue 1 champions a formal letter informing them that under no circumstances will he be activating that option.

PSG initially insisted that he would not be leaving the Parc des Princes in the upcoming transfer window and the player has indicated that he will remain there this term.
But the Parisians know they will have to sell him this summer to avoid losing him for free next year.
Real Madrid have been long-term admirers of the superstar with club president Florentino Perez desperate to sign him after missing out 12 months ago.
But he stated that Madrid’s transfer business was over after capturing veteran forward Joselu on loan and splashing out £115m on Jude Bellingham.

He is prepared to wait until next summer to get the 2018 World Cup winner on a free transfer.
However, after news of the ultimatum broke, talk of a summer switch to the Bernabeu has intensified.
Now El Chiringuito TV and PSG Community have offered a new update with both claiming both clubs are prepared to do business during this transfer window regarding the hotshot.
However, PSG and Madrid are still way apart when it comes to the financials.
El Chiringuito TV are claiming that Madrid have now submitted an offer worth around £102.6m for Mbappe.
But PSG want at least £171m – while the second report backs that up but adds that they also want another £42.7m as part of the package should he go on to win the Ballon d’Or while in Spain.
Meanwhile, we revealed how Manchester United are also keen on Mbappe.
And could table a potential swap deal once their Qatari takeover is completed.
