BRUNO FERNANDES will NOT be banned for pushing a linesman.
The Portuguese ace laid his hand on the assistant referee during Manchester United's 7-0 defeat to Liverpool yesterday.
Pundits including Chris Sutton suggested that Fernandes should receive a retrospective punishment for his actions.
But the 28-year-old won't be banned, as the incident WAS seen by referee Andy Madley.
Despite he and his assistants witnessing Fernandes' nudge, they didn't deem it serious enough to include in their report.
This means the incident will be left there, with the stand-in Man United skipper getting away with it.

Writing in the Mail, former England striker Sutton was scathing of Fernandes – and even suggested he should be hit with an ELEVEN GAME ban.
He wrote: "The Incredible Sulk racked up quite the rap sheet at Anfield. There was nothing professional about this behaviour. It was more befitting a petulant child, and the push on the assistant should result in a ban, no ifs and buts.
"Paolo Di Canio got 11 games in 1998, remember, and I wouldn’t disagree if Fernandes received the same punishment. This was shameful, embarrassing, disgraceful, whatever word you can conjure up."
Fernandes also drew ire for seemingly demanding to be substituted at 6-0.

Former Man United captain Gary Neville said on Sky Sports: "Bruno Fernandes is stood in the centre circle with his arms raised saying 'why is it me not coming off?'
"Honestly, I have to say some of his behaviour in the second half has been a disgrace."
Neville added later: "I've had enough of him throwing his arms about, not running about.
"That wasn't a captain's performance by him."
Roy Keane damningly added after the game: "Fernandes' body language today was disgraceful."
After the match, Fernandes said: "It's really frustrating, because it's a really bad result.
"The first half was really good, we created most of the chances, they didn't create much. The second half was not our level.
"We know how much better we can be, how much quality we have.
"We've set good standards for ourselves, now we must get back to that for ourselves and our fans."
