Richarlison in World Cup doubt for Brazil after coming off injured with calf problem in Tottenham clash against Everton | The Sun

RICHARLISON appears to be a World Cup doubt after limping off during Tottenham's clash against Everton.

The Brazilian was replaced by Yves Bissouma in the 52nd minute after picking up a calf injury.

But with just five weeks until Brazil kick off their World Cup campaign, his tournament now looks to be in doubt.

Richarlison went down injured in the Everton box just after half-time.

He massaged his calf with a pained expression on his face as the Spurs medics rushed on to tend to him.

The decision was quickly made that the 25-year-old could not continue against his former club.

And Richarlison was likely to be in the squad, having featured in the two friendlies against Ghana and Tunisia last month.

Manager Tite will now be sweating over the fitness of the £60million forward.

Spurs gaffer Antonio Conte looked worried as Richarlison hobbled off.
