Riyadh Season launches global Treasure Hunt challenge – with £800,000 prize up for grabs | The Sun

RIYADH SEASON has announced the official launch of its brand new GLOBAL challenge – a Treasure Hunt.

Users around the world have the can take part and vie for the £800,000 grand prize.

There's other prizes on offer too, with weekly prizes of £475,000 up for grabs across the next 12 weeks.

And it's easy to get involved, with players participating using their smart phone devices worldwide.

The various stages of the Treasure Hunt will combine a mixture of virtual and actual reality, with participants set a variety of different challengers to concur.

There will be a test of knowledge, clue finding missions and puzzles to solve in order to progress to the latter stages.

In fact, the first eight levels and digital finale will all be played using the digital devices.

Complete those rounds and you then have the opportunity to qualify for the final stage, where those fortunate will be flown out to the Saudi Arabian capital to compete in the finale at Riyadh Season, where one of the ten finalists will claim that £800,000 prize.

This represents the fourth edition of the Riyadh Season, where Saudi Arabia offer up a wide variety of entertainment options and experiences across 12 different zones during the winter months.

That includes thousands of concerts, exhibitions and other mega entertainment events.

This year's edition kicked off last month with Tyson Fury's controversial win over Francis Ngannou, which had Cristiano Ronaldo, Eminem and Conor McGregor as spectators.

While the WWE's Crown Jewel wrestling event took place just last weekend, with WWE legends Roman Reigns and John Cena on the card.

And there's some huge events to come, with Shakira and Post Malone signed up, Mike Tyson is involved with the opening of his first-ever gym, and Novak Djokovic plays Carlos Alcaraz in the Riyadh Season Tennis Cup.

It will also play host the its first ever UFC Fight Night.
