Day four round-up
A really good day for punters yesterday – especially those following our tipping guru.Templegate’s treble bet HACKED UP, with Meditate (5/2), Inspiral (15/8) and Heredia (7/2) all winning.
A cool 45/1 treble – well done to those that were on!
Frankie finally got the monkey off his back on Inspiral in the big one.
Ryan Moore made it three favourites going in in a row on Changingoftheguard who edged out Grand Alliance in the penultimate race.
Hayley Turner rode 5/1 winner Latin Lover in the finale. Second fave in a big-field handicap too – sickener for the bookies….

Big tip
There would be dafter things to do than look ahead to what Templegate is backing today after yesterday's showing.
His best bet comes in the feature at 4.20 this afternoon.
HOME AFFAIRS can land another big sprint prize for the Aussies. We saw stablemate Nature Strip make the red-hot King’s Stand Stakes look like an exercise gallop on Monday and this speedy colt beat her at Flemington when they met in February. He was then drawn on the wrong side when trying to give weight away all round at the Melbourne track. He is already a Group 1 winner and likes to blast off in front so will take a lot of pegging back.

Good morning Royal Ascot fans
Frankie Dettori started the proceedings by getting a two-day ban for using his whip above the permitted levels while riding Stradivarius in the Gold Cup, before redeeming himself with an enthralling win later on in the day at the Coronation Stakes.
Meanwhile, the first race of the day was won by Meditate who won the Albany Stakes.
Perfect Power then won the Commonwealth Cup, and Princess Kate Middleton was over the moon after she backed the horse.
Candleford went on to clinch victory at the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes
That was super impressive and tipped up by Megan Nicholls this morning as her best bet for the day.
But the emphatic moment of the day came when Frankie Dettori and Inspiral won the Coronation Stakes.
And then, Heredia galloped to the summit of the Sandringham Stakes following a stewards enquiry.
Subsequently, Changingoftheguard won the King Edward VII Stakes.
Before the day of races was concluded with Latin Lover’s victory at the Holyroodhouse Stakes.
But Ascot fans need not despair as there’s still more races to go on Saturday.

Kate Middleton's Ascot win
Princess Kate Middleton looked elated after realising she'd backed a winner at the Royal Ascot.
The Duchess of Cambridge put her money on Perfect Power who went on to win the Commonwealth Cup.
Prince William was also in attendance to congratulate his wife on her win in the Ascot's royal box.

Piers and wife make jokes
Piers Morgan and wife Celia Walden made light fun about having body weight and alcohol in the Royal Ascot sun.
Piers donned an all-black suit, with a top hat to match as the temperature sizzled at 33 degrees.
And his wife Celia was on hand to comment on the day's action,
She tweeted: "33 degrees. Body weight in alcohol. What could possibly go wrong @piersmorgan?"

ICYMI
Frankie Dettori ended his Royal Ascot nightmare with a performance to savour in the Coronation Stakes.
He steered Inspiral to a breathtaking win on the biggest stage of all just 24 hours after a Gold Cup to forget.
Dettori pleaded with punters to stick with him on day four of the Royal meeting and boy, did he come good when it mattered.
His fans kept the faith and John Gosden's star filly was well-backed into the 15-8 favourite.
Dettori, 51, said: "When I came out the stalls I thought 'here we go again!'
"But she's a very good horse and got me out of trouble."

Final tip!
Your final tip of Royal Ascot day four!
Templegate: LOVES ME LIKEAROCK still looked pretty green when a close-up fourth in a hot handicap at Newmarket last time. She didn’t handle the dip too well before finishing off strongly. Charles Hills’ hope has a handy draw here, likes fast ground and has more to offer.
Matt Chapman: STERLING KNIGHT is at the right end of the handicap for Ed Dunlop and might surprise a few. My hope won well at Ascot last time and while down to five from six furlongs he should get a strong pace to run at under David Probert.
