LEGEND OF DUBAI (5.00 Ascot, nap)
He was very impressive when winning at Newmarket last time and has a lot more to offer with just five runs under his belt. He sees out this mile really strongly and still looks on a fair handicap mark despite an 11lb rise.
LITTLE BIG BEAR (5.35 Ascot, nb)
He looked like a machine when scoring at Naas last time. He had the race tied up a long way from home and is the type to take a huge step forward here.
SHAHRYAR (3.40 Ascot, treble)
He won the Group 1 Dubai Sheema Classic last time despite hitting the front a little too soon. He toughed it out to beat Yibir and Pyledriver so that was an excellent performance.

LOVE REIGNS destroyed her rivals when winning on debut at Keeneland in April by no less than five lengths.
A lot of American sprinter are non-stayers but she is bred to appreciate moving up to six furlongs and trainer Wesley Ward has four wins and lots of places in this contest.
Dramatised looks clear best of the home team after an impressive victory at Newmarket first time out. She zipped right away from her rivals and the form of that race has worked out well. She can take another step forward here.
Stablemate Yahsat can also run well after beaten a neck for a Listed contest at York last time.
Katey Kontent scored on debut and improved plenty on that when following up at Windsor.
Trainer Clive Cox does well at Ascot and she has place claims.
Maria Branwell dug deep to land a Listed prize at Sandown and is respected with progress likely.
Maylandsea got the job done nicely at Nottingham with jockey David Egan not needing to get serious. She is in the hunt with All The Time also taking the eye at the same track.
Grand Oak is another American raider coming here after an easy win so watch the betting for clues.

ANCHORAGE looked to be crying out for this longer trip when a fair fifth on comeback at The Curragh last month.
That was over 1m2f which looks much too short for this son of Galileo who has a lot more to offer with that run under his belt.
Eldar Eldarov cost nearly half a million and powered home at Newcastle latest. This is tougher but he has scope for much more.
The Queen has a good chance thanks to Perfect Alibi. She showed some promise here last month and relished moving up to 1m4f when battling to victory at Newbury 15 days ago. This longer distance again should be ideal and she can take another step forward.
Charlie Appleby has two good chances. Nahanni was a fair seventh in the Derby despite him being upset by the crazy fireworks display just before the off. That saw him miss the break and he was always playing catch-up. He’s interesting over this longer trip.
Stablemate Hafit won a Newmarket maiden last season before going close in a Group 3 there. He has run well in a couple of decent contests this season and is another who should improve for the stamina test.
Zechariah wasn’t disgraced in the Lingfield Derby Trial when trying a trip for the first time.
It would be no shock to see him improve from that and outrun his odds but he needs more to win.

SHAHRYAR won the Group 1 Dubai Sheema Classic last time despite hitting the front a little too soon.
He toughed it out to beat Yibir and Pyledriver so that was an excellent performance. He has strong form in his native Japan and is proven on fast ground.
Bay Bridge made it five wins on the spin when taking a Sandown Group 3 by an easy five lengths. He powered away from his rivals and this trip is ideal. The slight worry with him is the ground as he has never tackled anything this quick before and likes it soft.
Lord North is respected given he won this race two years ago. He hasn’t been the easiest to get on the track but ran close to his best when fourth in the Tattersalls Gold Cup at The Curragh last month. We know he likes Ascot and Frankie Dettori can get a tune out of him.
State Of Rest was a globetrotter last season with Group 1 wins in America and Australia before returning this season with an impressive win in France.
He was just ahead of Lord North at The Curragh latest and can’t be dismissed.
Grand Glory finished behind the tip when they met in Japan but heads here in cracking form.

BASHKIROVA is progressing well and seemed to have plenty in the tank when winning the Princess Elizabeth Stakes at Epsom on Derby day.
That was only 11 days ago, which is a slight concern, but William Haggas doesn’t need to run her here so she must have come out of that race well. With so few miles on the clock she can improve again.
Mother Earth might well have won the Coronation Stakes last season had she been closer to the pace turning for home. She went on to land Group 1 honours at Deauville in August before running well in a host of top races bar the Breeders’ Cup where she was almost knocked off the track.
She returned with a game Curragh win but you have to forgive her one modest effort behind Baaeed in the Lockinge at Newbury last time when it was too bad to be true.
First-time cheekpieces could wake her up from that.
Saffron Beach did well last term and signed off with a convincing win in the Group 1 Sun Chariot at Newmarket ahead of Mother Earth.
She returned with a solid fourth in the Dubai Turf at Meydan which is pretty solid form. She will be happier dropping back to the mile here and can have a big say.
Novemba won the German 1,000 Guineas last seaosn before finishing a close-up fourth in the Coronation Stakes.
She hasn’t managed to win since then and would ideally like the ground softer.
Sibila Spain clocked a personal best when winning a St Cloud Group 2 in France over this trip last time.
She came from a mile back there and it won’t be easy to pull off those tactics against this level of opposition.
Primo Bacio is a Listed winner at best and she’s come up short when trying this level before.
Kennella has placed form in this class but was modest on return at Longchamp so needs major improvement.
Thunder Beauty hasn’t won since her maiden at the Curragh two years ago and would be a shock winner.

You need a lot of luck in this race but you can usually win from either side of the track and he can go up the far side.
Astro King ran a migty race when second in this 12 months ago but was no match for a runaway winner.
He’s only 4lb higher in the weights and blew away the cobwebs with a luckless effort in the Thirsk Hunt Cup on comeback.
Dark Shift loves this Ascot straight with three wins and was impressive at Nottingham last month.
A middle draw isn’t ideal but he has strong place claims.
Symbolize would possibly like the ground a bit softer but he has a plum draw and trainer Andrew Balding is in fine form.
He is another with decent form here and top apprentice Harry Davies takes off 5lb. He’s an excellent each-way bet.
Cruyff Turn clocked a personal best over this trip at York and would have every chance if repeating that effort here.
Frankie rides Totally Charming who scooted in at Epsom on Oaks day. He loves this trip and has done most of his racing on sand so has scope to improve on turf.
Magical Morning has a lot of weight but he’s another with a top 5lb claiming rider on board.
He has run well here before and is worth a look.
Desert Peace has run well in hot races out in Dubai.
Trainer Charlie Appleby continues in good form and he’s respected with William Buick up.
Clive Cox and Adam Kirby do well here and their Aratus is interesting going up in distance.

Wodao really improved to win at Navan for Donnacha O’Brien and looks a big price if able to back that up.
Chateau got up on the line to win a red-hot contest at Beverley last time and William Buick stays on board.
He liked the quick ground there and has every chance of making the frame.
American raider Seismic Spirit was just collared on the line making his debut at Churchill Downs last month.
There’s a danger he won’t get home but he’ll blast off and will take plenty of pegging back.
Bolt Action won well on debut at Leicester and trainer Roger Varian is in good form.
Rocket Rodney was had lots in hand when scoring at Goodwood and the form of the race is working out.
This is a big hike in class but he could run better than his price suggests.
Knebworth has been doing well on the all-weather and it will be interesting to see how he gets on tackling turf for the first time.

SPIRIT OF THE BAY looks a big price given how close she came to winning over course and distance last month.
She was beaten just a head there on similar ground and is capable of running another big race at each-way odds.
Haziya kicked off this season with a big-field win at Leopardstown before an excellent third in a tough contest at The Curragh.
She’s off the same mark here and will be competitive.
Mobadra has few miles on the clock and ran well a couple of times on turf before winning nicely at Kempton.
She has been off since that November success but goes well fresh and Roger Varian will have her fit and ready.
Serenading was a bit unlucky when fourth here latest when meeting traffic problems. She comes from behind so will need some luck but could run into the placings.
Improvised was a good second in a Musselburgh Listed contest earlier this month and sees out this trip well. She went close at York off this mark and likes fast ground.
White Moonlight had lots in hand when scoring at Newmarket two runs ago – way back in 2019. She returned from almost three years off to show promise at Chelmsford and she’s bred to be above this level. She should be fitter for that run and is a big threat.
Farhh To Shy ended last season with a win and return with a good Doncaster success.
This is her ideal distance and she looks open to improvement.
