A ROYAL Ascot punter was left licking his wounds after seeing an £84,000 winner go up in smoke – when he cashed out for just £460.
The absolutely sickening decision – and video of the betslip – has gone viral online, with many questioning why the punter took the cash and ran after staking just £2.12.
Incredibly, another punter put £2.50 each way on the same selections and won more than £300,000.
Bailey Grant, 21, says he still made a tasty £7,000 profit from other Royal Ascot bets.
And in the grand scheme of things a £460 return from such a small stake is not to be sniffed at.

But he posted a photo of his betslip that showed him cashing out before the remainder of his selections won.
Bailey went through the card at Ascot on Friday, finding 10-3 Meditate, 7-2 Perfect Power and 6-1 Candleford in the first three races.
He also picked 3-1 Inspiral, 4-1 Heredia, 13-8 Changingoftheguard and 10-1 Latin Lover.

But his slip showed him cashing out for £463.13.
Had he let the bet run all the way through he would be £83,638.75 better off.
Bailey wrote on Twitter: "Still can't believe it, cashed out for £463.75 when it went onto run and win for £83,638.75!"
Others were a bit less diplomatic on his decision to cash out.
One comment read: "What a plonker!"
Another said: "For the sake of £2.12. Let it run, man!"
A fellow Facebook user wrote: "Why would you cash out?!"
While another wrote: "I feel sick."
And one person said: "That'll be one regret they'll take to the grave."
Bailey, a semi-pro footballer for Chadderton FC in Oldham, justified his decision in a series of tweets and showed another bet where he won £3,741.19 from a £30 each way treble.
Annoyingly, the three horses he backed in that treble were the same he had as part of his seven-fold accumulator.
He said: "At the end of the days boys, I’ve just turned 21 had bets in the past especially at Cheltenham this year. One horse left to run either it falls or pulls up early on!
"I'm not going to throw massive amounts of profit when I didn’t have a gut feeling the horse would run well if I’m totally honest so I did the correct thing and took £700+ and then put the net back on! Took a cut of the money and gambled a bit.
"I’ve done the right thing at 21 years of age, walking away with £7k and more profits from the previous days at Ascot… think that’s a week well done to me."
It was a good day for former I'm a Celeb… winner Georgia Toffolo too.
She won £6,500 on one bet – three months after scooping a whopping £37,000 at Cheltenham Festival.
