RYAN Giggs called a "team meeting" with his ex and family over how to load the dishwasher after getting "wound up" by spoons, a court has heard.
The former football player's ex Kate Greville claimed that lockdown was a period of "living hell" after moving in with Giggs when the pandemic was announced in March 2020.
Ms Greville, a PR executive, said week during her evidence that there were arguments including one involving how to load the dishwasher.
She alleged ex-Manchester United player Giggs – who is on is on trial accused of assaulting his former partner, as well as controlling and coercive behaviour towards her, would make "me feel like I was stupid."
Ms Greville told the court: "I had to do it exactly the way he wanted to do it. That's just one example of many."
On Wednesday, Giggs said lockdown was "a really happy time from my perspective", adding that he and Ms Greville would "bicker" but had "no big arguments".

He said that during the lockdown his daughter and her boyfriend were at the house in Worsley, Greater Manchester, most of the time, with his son also staying regularly.
Asked by his barrister Chris Daw QC whether he was "particularly keen on dishwasher loading technique", Giggs said the dishwasher was often on three or four times a day due to the number of people staying in the house.
He said: "I would be opening the dishwasher and the tablespoons would be the wrong way round."
"It would wind me up because I would have to do it again, so I called a team meeting and just said, 'Everyone, can you please put the tablespoons the right way round'.

"It wasn't a big argument, it was just how I explained it."
It comes after Giggs broke down in tears today as he told a court that spending the night in a cell was "the worst experience of my life".
He said he was taken to Pendleton police station in Salford after being arrested on suspicion of assaulting his ex-partner on November 1, 2020.
Asked by Chris Daw QC, defending, how he engaged with cops when they arrived at his home Giggs said: "Just answered their questions."
On his emotional state at the time, he said: "I was scared. I'd never been in that position before, so scared."
Giggs confirmed he was arrested, taken to the police station and spent the night in a cell.
He then started crying as he said it was the "worst experience of my life".

The former Wales manager, 48, denies using controlling and coercive behaviour against Ms Greville, 38, between August 2017 and November 2020, assaulting her, causing actual bodily harm, and the common assault of her younger sister Emma Greville, 26.
