United eyeing century of goals
Erik ten Hag would happily take a repeat this afternoon of Monday's 2-1 win over Liverpool – a scoreline that would ensure Manchester United reach a special milestone.
Two goals for the Red Devils on the south coast would bring up a century of Premier League strikes versus Southampton.
It would make Saints the fifth different club that United have hit 100 against.
The first of United's 98 Premier League goals against Southampton was scored 30 years ago this week by Dion Dublin in the 89th minute of a 1-0 away win at The Dell.

Good morning from St Mary's
Welcome to our live coverage of the first Premier League match of the weekend, Southampton's home clash with Manchester United.
What a difference a week makes – or should that be what a difference a win over rivals Liverpool makes.
A fortnight on from being badly stung by the Bees, United are buzzing again.
Erik ten Hag's men travel to St Mary's with renewed confidence, and aiming to bring an end to their losing run on the road.
And now they have added Casemiro to their ranks; the Brazilian is likely to make his debut today.
The Saints are also in buoyant mood after registering their first win of the campaign last time out.
Ralph Hasenhuttl's men came from behind to beat Leicester thanks to a second half double from super sub Che Adams.
In the aftermath, Hasenhuttl has had to bat away speculation linking the Scottish striker with Everton, insisting he is a pivotal to a successful season of survival.
Another three points this afternoon would go far in helping them on their way.
The action begins on the south coast at 12.30pm, and team news is on the way.
