TODD BOHELY has revealed Chelsea are using a fresh "modern and data-driven philosophy" under his ownership.
Boehly, 49, opened up on his policies as the Blues confirmed the appointment of Joe Shields as new transfer guru.
The announcement of their incoming co-director of recruitment and talent sees the post-Roman Abramovich era shake-up continue.
Boehly said: "We have a clear plan and will adopt a modern and data-driven philosophy, focused on elite emerging talent.
"We’re assembling a deep and collaborative management team who are eager to build a continued sustained winner at Chelsea. "
The American owner announced the arrival of former Southampton and Manchester City transfer chief Shields on Thursday.
