FULHAM are closing in on the signing of Tottenham flop Carlos Vinicius, according to reports.
The striker, 27, scored just one goal in nine Premier League games on loan at Spurs in 2020-21.
But he is set to return to the Premier League to aid Fulham's survival bid.
The Cottagers are close to sealing a £9.5million move for the Benfica star, according to Portuguse outlet Record.
Vinicius joined PSV on a two-year loan from Benfica last summer and scored seven goals in 36 games for the Dutch side last season but will cut short that arrangement to move to Craven Cottage.
And if Fulham can complete the transfer before the end of the day the Brazilian will become their eighth signing of the summer.

Liverpool set to loan Arthur, Utd ANNOUNCE Antony and race on for Luiz
Marco Silva's side are set for a busy deadline day although their attempts to sign Roma winger Justin Kluivert have collapsed after he was denied a work permit.
Fulham agreed personal terms with Kluivert this month after new signing Manor Solomon picked up a major injury.
Kluivert, who spent last term on loan at Nice, was due to undergo a medical on Wednesday before discovering there was no chance of the move happening.
A new points system is in place for work permits after free movement of labour from the EU ended as a result of Brexit, and Kluivert did not play enough games last season to meet the criteria for a work permit.
