In no Harry
Ange Postecolgou has no doubts over Harry Kane’s commitment — while he remains a Tottenham player.
Postecoglou held talks with Kane for the first time on Wednesday after the striker returned to training, before both jetted off to Perth for the start of Spurs’ pre-season tour of Australia and the Far East.
Tottenham’s new boss said: “There are a lot of people that know Harry better than me but he’s not going to get fazed by anything.
“He’s here and while he’s here, he’s totally committed to what we’re doing. That’s the way I’ve seen things. In terms of me, Hoeness’ words have zero impact on me.
“If other clubs want to talk about our contracted players, that’s more of an issue for them than us.”

Mag pied
Harry Maguire confirmed yesterday that he had been stripped of the United captaincy – with manager Erik Ten Hag no longer seeing him as a reliable first-team option.
He confirmed in a social media post that he was "extremely disappointed" with Ten Hag's decision.
West Ham are understood to be the front runners for Maguire's signature – but potential buyers are being put off by United's demands of a £50m fee.
SunSport reported yesterday that Chelsea have joined West Ham, Tottenham and Newcastle in the race for Maguire's signature.

Auba & out
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reportedly agreed a deal to join Marseille.
The striker is out of favour at Chelsea and had been expected to leave the club this summer.
He made just 15 Premier League appearances for the Blues after joining last year, scoring once.
And now he has agreed a three-year contract with Marseille, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Chelsea are keen to sell and that means agreeing a fee will reportedly be relatively straightforward.
Arsenal fans have ridiculed the proposed move and labelled Marseille a "retirement home" for former Gooners like Alexis Sanchez and Matteo Guendouzi.

Dec wouldn't get in City team
Declan Rice's record-busting 3105million move to Arsenal saves him from struggling to get in Manchester City's team.
That's the verdict of former Gunners and Chelsea midfielder Emmanuel Petit, who told DAZN Bet the England anchorman is purely a No 6 not a No 8.
He would have been great at Manchester City, but he would have struggled to get into the starting XI because Rodri has been so good. Pep only likes to play with one holding midfielder, and Stones has shown he is more than capable of stepping in there when necessary from defence.
Rice is not a No 8 so he would not have been able to fit in as another holding midfielder, he is just a No 6. If I was Rice, I would ask myself if I was going to play regularly every weekend? I don’t think he would have; just look at Phil Foden and Riyad Mahrez.
Arsenal was the best option for him because he will definitely play every single game, he fits perfectly into the team and it is a young squad that he knows very well already.

Kane to Arsenal? I can dream!
Arsenal legend Emmanuel Petit would 'love' to see Tottenham striker Harry Kane join the Gunners ahead of Bayern Munich and Manchester United.
The ex-Chelsea midfielder revealed his far-fetched dream to DAZN Bet.
I know Osimhen is a great player and he has said it is his dream to play in England, but there will be so many great clubs that are interested in signing him this year.
I would love to see Harry Kane at Arsenal. I know people will laugh at that, but he started his career at Arsenal before joining Spurs as a youngster.
"There’s always so much speculation about him every summer, but Arsenal need a striker that can score at least 30 goals and there are not that many on the market."

De Gea could DOUBLE pay with Saudi move
David de Gea could be set for an instant return to football after being released by Manchester United this month.
The Spanish stopper was the club's highest earner on £375,000-a-week but United did not renew his deal after setting their sights on Andre Onana.
According to the Daily Star though, De Gea could be set to DOUBLE his salary following 'lucrative' offers from Saudi clubs this summer.
A reunion with Cristiano Ronaldo could be on the cards with Al-Nassr being one of the interested parties.
However the Riyadh based club are currently on a transfer ban owing to outstanding payments – opening the door for other Saudi sides to swoop.
De Gea initially looked set to extend his stay at United – with the stopper being willing to accept a paycut to fight for his place.
But with an agreement near, United withdrew the offer, leading to De Gea walking away from negotiations and ending his 12 year association with the club.
United had initially looked at Everton keeper Jordan Pickford as De Gea's replacement but baulked at the Toffees' £70million price tag.
The club then turned their sights to Onana – and are close to completing a £47m move with the keeper undergoing a medical later this week.

Onana set for United medical
Andre Onana is reportedly set to undergo his Manchester United medical tomorrow.
And the goalkeeper’s £47million transfer is expected to be completed in the next 48 hours.
Onana, 27, is finally set to be reunited with former Ajax boss Erik ten Hag after weeks of talks.
United agreed a fee with his club Inter Milan earlier today.
And the Senegalese stopper said goodbye to teammates three days ago after being treated to a farewell dinner at the restaurant of Inter legend Javier Zanetti.
The Times now claims Onana is ready to put the finishing touches on his Red Devils switch.
The ace will undergo a thorough medical on Tuesday.
And he is expected to be confirmed as a new United player by Wednesday at the latest.
Onana’s move picked up speed after David de Gea was released from his contract.
The Spaniard was not offered a new deal despite winning last season’s Golden Glove.

Leeds snub £15m Wilfried offer
Leeds have turned down a £15milion Everton offer for reported Arsenal target Wilfried Gnonto.
The 11-cap Italy forward, 19, was a rare bright light as his Elland Road side got relegated.
And the Daily Mail suggest the Toffees have made the first firm move for the ex-FC Zurich whizkid.
It's claimed the Gunners fancy Gnonto as back-up for England wideman Bukayo Saka.

Meanwhile, Premier League newcomers Luton Town and Middlesbrough are weighing up £5million bids for Wolves' Academy graduate Ryan Giles, who was a hit on loan at Boro last season.

Atalanta flexible over date for selling Rasmus
Atalanta head coach Gian Piero Gasperini believes there's no point setting a deadline for selling Manchester United target Rasmus Hojlund in the current transfer window.
The Denmark striker, 20, has reportedly suggested he'd be interested in joining the Red Devils.
Credit: Getty And United's pursuit of Hojlund is thought to have stepped up now a move for Harry Kane seems unlikely.
Bayern Munich are favourites to sign the England skipper amid claims Spurs would fight tooth and nail to avoid selling him to a Prem rival.
Italy24 report Gasperini as saying: “Hojlund? Even if we fix a date, put August 15, the transfer market isn’t over. If an offer arrives, the club, the player, decides later.
“Date? I would put July 31 but realistically there is no possibility of putting it, even Hojlund was like this last year, everything is random.”

Gunners to demand £50m for Inter target Balogun
Arsenal have placed a £50m price tag on the head of striker Folarin Balogun.
But the Gunners are ready to sell the former England under-21 man despite his goal exploits in France.
Inter Milan head the likely suitors after pulling out of the race for Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku.
Brooklyn-born Balogun, who scored 22 goals on loan at Ligue 1 Reims last season, swapped nationalities to declare for the country of his birth and made his USA debut last month.
Credit: Getty And the 22-year-old appears to be reconciling himself with leaving Arsenal.
He said: “I went away and the point was to prove I could play first- team football.
“I feel I was able to do that and show people I can play at that level.
“With me coming back it's not really much of a situation where I need to try extra hard to prove something. It's a decision that's not really with me. Whatever happens I'm cool with it.”

'PSG knew Rashford wanted new Utd deal'
PSG tamed their interest in Marcus Rashford this summer because they knew he wanted a new Manchester United contract.

And PSG were reportedly one of the keenest clubs – until learning of his desire to extend his stay at Old Trafford.

'Mount could have skippered Chelsea'
Chelsea fans will be ‘very upset’ Mason Mount has joined Manchester United – because he could have been Blues' skipper.
That's the verdict of ex-Chelsea and Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Petit, who believes supporters are saddened by the drain of Academy products.
Former France star Petit told DAZN Bet: "I was certain he would stay at the club.
"To have seen all the speculation for the past six months, for him not to play and then for the club to bring in all of these players is strange.
"I’m sure he must have been tired watching all of these players come in and get the wage level that he has asked for.
"If I’m a Chelsea fan, I would be very upset because he’s an Englishman from the academy.
"Mason Mount is one of a few players who represented the fans in the dressing room and I think he was the future of the club.
"He is definitely a player who could have replaced Cesar Azpilicueta as club captain this summer as well."

Folarin and Gunners need 'clean break'
Arsenal legend Emmanuel Petit believes Folarin Balogun departing permanently would be best for him AND the Gunners.
The USA striker, 22, has been linked with Inter Milan and Prem clubs following his sensational loan season with Reims.
And ex-Chelsea midfielder Petit told DAZN Bet: "He’s done very well here in France and I know he could be an option.
"But I have been saying for months that the best thing for all parties would be a clean break.
"Arsenal have just signed a new long-term contract with Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus fits so well into how Mikel Arteta wants to play, so they need to buy one more striker or someone who can offer versatility in a wide role as well.
"The more options they have in attack, the better."
