Manchester United's pursuit of Ajax forward Antony does not mean the club have agreed to allow Cristiano Ronaldo to leave.

Arsenal to lower Leno valuation
Bernd Leno’s move to Fulham is finally moving closer after Arsenal agreed to lower their asking price, report the Evening Standard.

Blues looking at Kounde alternatives
Chelsea have shortlisted three centre-backs to target in case they are gazumped in the transfer market by Barcelona again in the battle for Jules Kounde – but all are considered 'imperfect options'.
According to the Evening Standard, the Blues could move for either Milan Skriniar, Presnel Kimpembe or Josko Gvardiol despite there being clear hurdles to each deal.
There is major competition for Skriniar, who is currently wanted by oil-rich Paris Saint-Germain, while French international Kimpembe wishes to remain at the same club.
Meanwhile, RB Leipzig are currently unwilling to sell their Croatian ace, Gvardiol, and it would take a significant offer to tempt them into doing business.

United’s ‘final’ bid for Antony
Manchester United will make one last attempt to land Ajax star Antony, according to GOAL.

However, the Amsterdam club have held firm on the 22-year-old ace, dismissing United’s initial bid of around £40m.
It is understood Ajax are asking an eye-watering £70m for Antony, but could do business if the Premier League outfit meet them halfway on their respective valuations.

Chelsea allowed the 20-year-old to leave the club’s pre-season tour of America last week in order to finalise his future.
According to i Sport, former Blues boss Frank Lampard wants to reunite with the forward at Goodison Park, while Newcastle would prefer an initial loan move.

Liverpool are deciding whether to accept a bid for Roberto Firmino from Juventus.
According to Italian media, the Serie A giants have submitted an offer just shy of £20m for the Brazilian forward.
Juve are in the hunt for a striker following the end of Alvaro Morata's loan, and the loss of Paulo Dybala to Roma.

And Chelsea are prepared to offer former Leipzig favourite Timo Werner as part of the deal for the 24-year-old centre-back.
Mukiele had look destined for PSG after a £13m deal had been agreed with the Bundesliga club.
Despite the competition, the Ligue 1 champions are said to remain confident that the defender will join them this week.

Gunners keen on Lyon’s Paqueta
Arsenal have finally admitted that they are interested in Lyon star Luis Paqueta – but haven’t yet made a move for the flamboyant midfielder.
The Times reports that Gunners technical director Edu would like to bring his compatriot to the Emirates.
The North London club already have four Brazilians in their ranks, having added Gabriel Jesus and Marquinhos this summer to a squad that included Gabriel and Gabriel Martinelli.
And Arsenal hope that South American core will help tempt Paqueta to them when the time comes.
The 24-year-old has also been linked with Newcastle, where his friend Bruno Guimaraes – who notoriously rejected the Gunners in January – currently plays.

But now the club are seriously considering other options, and the Serbian is at the top of their list.
Calciomercato reported United’s reignited interest over the weekend, but stated that Lazio’s asking price of €70m will be an issue.
The 27-year-old has another two years to run on his current deal at the Stadio Olimpico.

Tuchel wants three more signings
Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel wants at least three new players before the start of the Premier League season.
The Blues boss has been frustrated this summer in his attempts to rebuild the squad, missing out on high-profile targets Raphinha and Ousmane Dembele.
And now the Londoners are struggling to get the captures of Presnel Kimpembe and Jules Kounde over the line.
Tuchel was allegedly furious after his side were embarrassed by Arsenal in a 4-0 pre-season defeat at the weekend, and is demanding the club up their game on and off the pitch.
Transfers expert Fabrizio Romano said: "Thomas Tuchel wants at least three news players. He needs centre-backs, he wants attacking players, he wants new signings."
