CARL FROCH has slammed Tyson Fury's fight with Francis Ngannou and claimed Mike Tyson would be a tougher opponent.
The boxing and MMA worlds collide this Saturday in Saudi Arabia as the pair of heavyweight superstars clash in a crossover bout.
Ngannou is making his boxing debut and has brought in American icon Tyson into his coaching team.
It is a move retired world champion Carl Froch hailed – but he claimed even 57-year-old Iron Mike would be more of a threat to Fury.
He told BestGamblingSites: “Bringing Mike Tyson in has brought more interest to it, it's like he's glamorised the event.
"Wherever he goes he's like a God. He's a f***ing mad, brilliant fighter and the ultimate fighting machine.

"There's an argument to say Mike Tyson would give Tyson Fury a better fight than Francis Ngannou.
"He's got all of that experience, he's an old man, but he'd give Tyson Fury more of a fight for two or three rounds than Francis Ngannou is going to manage.
"The trainer has got more of a chance than Ngannou, 100 per cent. He has, hasn't he? You can't argue with that.”
Froch has likened the bout between boxing's No1 heavyweight anddebutant Ngannou to a sparring session in the gym.
