UFC star Yanal Ashmouz has revealed he broke his wrist during the first round against Chris Duncan on Saturday night – before carrying on for anther two rounds.

Ashmouz, 28, suffered his first professional defeat by unanimous decision at UFC London after judges ruled the clash 30-27, 30-27, 29-28 in favour Scotland-born Duncan, 30.

However, he was compromised from the first few minutes of the fight after breaking his wrist in the first round.

Midway through the bout, Ashmouz appeared to inform his team that he couldn’t close his left hand.

He then stopped throwing his left hand entirely, therefore giving Duncan the advantage.

After the fight, the Red Fox was immediately transferred to hospital, where he discovered that he had severely broken his wrist.
