Sport manufacturing giants Puma have signed the exciting young talent to their ranks.

Kai announced he had penned a deal with the company on Instagram, telling his 55k followers: "Great to sign for @puma
Only see great."

His sponsorship deal follows an incredible season playing for Manchester United's academy.

Kai scored a mind-boggling 56 goals for United's kids last season.

Rooney Jr – an Everton fan – had multiple offers but chose to join the club where his dad enjoyed the majority of his success.

Meanwhile Rooney Sr was spotted arriving in America on Sunday ahead of his return to DC United.

He has also been pictured overseeing DC United training ahead of the official announcement.

Rooney spent two seasons with the MLS outfit as a player from 2018-2020, and is now set to be named as the club's manager.

The England legend has agreed to take charge of the Washington DC-based club, despite The Sun exclusively revealing wife Coleen's concerns about being "oceans apart".

Kai and mum Coleen, as well as Cass, four, Klay, nine, and Kit are set to stay in the UK after they found life difficult when they originally moved to the States.
