MANCHESTER UNITED fans have complained Zidane Iqbal has not played enough after the youngster impressed against Russia.

The 19-year-old won his third cap for Iraq on Sunday, making his full debut in a 2-0 defeat to Russia.

He caught the eye of United fans with an impressive first-half display that showcased his talents.

Iqbal's close control left supporters stunned after he took the ball past three Russian players before delivering a pinpoint pass to set up a chance on the counter attack.

He also set up another goalscoring chance with a deft pass after showing great tenacity to win the ball off the opposition.

Several United fans were left impressed with the youngster and some suggested Erik ten Hag should give him more first-team opportunities.

Iqbal made his Red Devils debut in the Champions League last season but played just a minute under former boss Ralf Rangnick.

He also played in a friendly against Cadiz in December and had fans raving over his performance after he helped his side win a penalty in the 4-2 loss.
