DANNY INGS looked unrecognisable during West Ham's friendly win over Tottenham as he waits for a hair transplant to kick in.

The Hammers ace has been a regular in England's top flight with his dark hair, but he has now decided to give it a boost by paying in the region of £17,000 for a transplant.

Ings, 30, was snapped at the Mayfair Hair Clinic after his procedure with his head shaved and bandages on the sides.

He is also shaking the hands of "Dr D" with a big smile on his face as he was happy with the process.

The clinic charges between £12,000 and £17,000 for transplants and also can provide extras which can cost up to another £1,000.

After getting the transplant Ings told the clinic which said: "A colleague recommended Mayfair Hair Clinic and they have exceeded my expectations – a level above the rest!"
