Anita is a British-Nigerian sports reporter born in London.
She is bilingual and speaks both English and Spanish and is a fan of football, rugby and tennis.
Her early presenting career saw Anita working in local radio and TV, through the BBC but it was her passion for sports that catapulted her career.
Thanks to her fluency in Spanish, Jones managed to conduct an exclusive interview with Unai Emery impressing audiences.
She quickly rose through the ranks of the BBC’s Kick Off Trainee Sports Reporter scheme and went on to become a regular presenter of Arsenal Nation Live – Arsenal’s matchday show.
Anita also co-presented and produced the BBC’s Women’s Sports Show.
She presented live from a number of iconic sporting events including the London Marathon, Epsom Downs horse racing, The Championship and Wimbledon.
Jones has stated that she wants to “be a positive representative and role model for women in a male-dominated industry”.

She is also a prominent voice regarding endometriosis a condition where the tissue similar to the lining of the womb grows in other places including the ovaries and fallopian tubes.
Anita has suffered with endometriosis since she was 14 but was only officially diagnosed with the condition in her 20s.
Advising other women who may be suffering in silence, she said: "Push to see a specialist, a gynaecologist, and then if you have endometriosis , do an ovarian reserve test after your first surgery.
"We’re not taught these things. And even if you don’t have it, so many women have problems getting pregnant.”

Anita has worked for Premier League Productions since September 2020.
Her role includes live reporting at Premier League games, co-presenting 20 In 20, football player interviews in both English and Spanish, and she is a back-up presenter for Fanzone.
She has hosted coverage of the Premier League on Sky and CBS Sports in America.
