PREMIER LEAGUE clubs are scrambling to complete deals ahead of Friday June 30.
That’s because tomorrow is known by those in the trade as the “unofficial transfer deadline day.”
Teams including Arsenal, Tottenham and Man City have already been busy in the summer market, despite it only being open for the past two weeks.
Todd Boehly’s Chelsea have especially captured the imagination, offloading the likes of Kai Havertz, Kalidou Koulibaly and Edouard Mendy for sizable sums.
Mason Mount is now the latest player to head for the Stamford Bridge exit, with Chelsea finally accepting a £60million offer from Manchester United.
But there’s a reason why some teams are desperate to do as much business as possible before July.

That’s because any deals done before the end of the month counts towards financial accounts for last season.
That can play a huge role in meeting Financial Fair Play regulations, especially after a mega splurge in the latest campaign.
Chelsea have spent around £600m since Boehly replaced Roman Abramovich, with January seeing the likes of Enzo Fernandez arriving for a £106m fee.
But with the Blues raking back £65m for Havertz and £60m for Mount alone, with three others moving to Saudi Arabia, they are now balancing the books in style – giving themselves a clean plate for more arrivals in the coming months.

The past several days have also seen James Maddison join Spurs, with Mateo Kovacic signing for Man City.
And there could now be a flurry of other transfers set to be completed before the unofficial deadline, with Chelsea this evening offloading Ruben Loftus-Cheek to AC Milan.
Arsenal are hoping to wrap up deals for Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber.
While Hakim Ziyech is also on the brink of joining Saudi side Al-Nassr.
And in the lower leagues, Championship outfit Everton are closing in on a hat-trick of signings with Zack Steffen, Harry Winks and Conor Coady.
But tomorrow won’t mark the end of the spending, with clubs sure to be on constant watch for any bargains or improvements until September 1’s deadline.
