While Brit Katie Boulter bowed out

Wimbledon lost its last British singles player and its unofficial poster girl last night when Katie Boulter was given a schooling by defending champion Elena Rybakina.

Now, with Andy Murray departed and the exciting 20-year-old hoping to become an adopted Brit and win support from local fans, Alcaraz cannot help but feel energised going into the second week.
