SUN RACING's tipster Templegate is back with his Placepot picks for Newbury this Saturday – as Tote boost their pool to a cool £250,000.

HIGHLAND AVENUE was a good fourth in the Wolferton Stakes at Royal Ascot when he enjoyed moving up to this distance. He can figure for Buick and Appleby.
LEG 3: NOVEL LEGEND, APPARATE
NOVEL LEGEND ran a lot better than seventh place suggests in the Ascot Stakes last time. He has plenty of staying power and can put it to good use.
APPARATE came back from a long break with a neck second at Doncaster latest. This is a tougher race but he’ll come on for the run.
LEG 4: ROHAAN, ANNAF
ROHAAN has been threatening to win one of these big races and found 5f on the sharp side at Ascot seven days ago. This trip will suit better.
ANNAF is consistent and ran another good race when a close-up fourth at Sandown last time out.
LEG 5: RELIEF RALLY
RELIEF RALLY was really unlucky not to win the Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot last time when she was beaten on the nod. She can make up for that disappointment.
LEG 6: L’ENNEMI, FREE NATION
L’ENNEMI was an expensive buy who comes from a top family and will know his job on debut coming from Ralph Beckett.
FREE NATION has shaped well on his two starts and didn’t get much luck at Doncaster last time.
