Despite the stunt week having only just aired, things aren’t slowing down in Hollyoaks’ eponymous village, with the soap lining up another compelling week of hard-hitting drama.
Imran Maalik (Ijaz Rana) suffers a serious injury as a result of his eating disorder, and he ultimately decides to keep shtum about it.
Subsequent scenes, however, will see the teen bunk off work in favour of exercise at the gym, which piques Juliet Nightingale’s (Niamh Blackshaw) interest.
Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard), meanwhile, reckons Imran has lost focus at work, so Imran embarks on a cooking challenge for a food critic, all while keeping his nasty injury a secret.
But horror scenes ensue, as he ultimately collapses! Will he be okay?
Elsewhere in the village, Mason Chen-Williams (Frank Kauer) is glued to the Men’s online forum, and he watches the hateful comments about Ella Richardson (Erin Palmer) multiply.
Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson) checks in on him and playfully takes his phone from him, but a shocking outburst from Mason leads her to realise there is more to his mood than meets the eye.
Will he come clean? He makes a huge decision, that’s for sure, but just what is it?
