A PLACE in the Sun's Lee Juggurnauth feared he was about to be "hit" by a guest after he suggested to walk instead of drive.
The presenter and property developer, 35, was joined by married couple Lynn and Barry from the West Midlands, who were searching for their new home in Spain's Costa Blanca.
With a budget of £180,000, they wanted a place with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a private pool, and plenty of space for their two cats Bob and Marley.
After viewing their first property, Lee took Lynn and Barry on a detour to a very pretty Spanish town El Ràfol d'Almúnia, which had shops, bars, restaurants, a bread shop, a chemist, a sports centre and much more.
Lee told the guests: "Now guys before we head over to property number two, I thought I'd bring you to the quaint Spanish village El Ràfol d'Almúnia."
Lynn said: "It's beautiful."

Barry agreed: "Very pretty."
Lee continued: "It's quite small, very traditional. This could be on your doorstep if you quite fancy quite quaint quite Spanish.
"The food here and the coffee here I'm told are amazing. How does that sound to you?"
Barry answered: "Sounds lovely."

Lee then said: "Next property, property number two, is a five-minute drive away from here or if you're feeling brave it's 45 minutes on foot".
There was an awkward silence before the couple realised Lee was joking and started to laugh.
Lee joked: "Your face as soon as I said 45 minutes walk. You were about to hit me!"
Lee joined the show's roster of presenters including Laura Hamilton, Jasmine Harman, Jonnie Irwin and Scarlette Douglas in April 2021.
Speaking about the moment he found out he got the job, Lee said: "It was kind of like a pinch me moment because I had previously auditioned for the show two years prior to that.
"I got quite far, I got into the final two, but they chose someone else instead because they wanted a girl at the time."
When he's not busy finding properties for guests on the Channel 4 show, he's designing clobber for his clothing brand Juggurnauth.
A Place in the Sun airs weekdays at 3pm on Channel 4 and All 4.
