A Place in the Sun star Laura Hamilton has opened up about dating again after her marriage split from former husband Alex Goward.
The presenter, 41, parted ways with Alex in January 2022 after being together for 13 years and married for nine.
Breaking the news on Instagram, she shared that she and Alex, 42, would always put their children Tahlia, eight, and Rocco, nine, first and that they were their “number one priority”.
Now, nearly two years later after announcing their break-up, Laura has been dipping her toe back into the dating pool.
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, she said: “I’ve been on some great dates, to some lovely restaurants, on a picnic, to the theatre. But I get the ‘ick’ quite quickly. Once I’ve got the ick, I’m done.
“Trust is everything for me. It always has been, and I don’t think that is much to ask.
“When trust is gone in any personal or professional relationship, it’s game over for me.”
She revealed that she is a romantic but that she seeks chemistry and a genuine connection with prospective partners so that they can become a successful couple and admitted that she's become a little 'picky' since her split.
Laura is not in a hurry to meet someone new and marry again- and has admitted that the celebrity dating app Raya is not for her because she'd prefer to meet someone organically.
It comes after Laura made the most of the half-term holiday after jetting off to Cyprus with her children.
The A Place in the Sun presenter shared a number of snaps to Instagram while enjoying the getaway, with many fans labelling her "stunning" as she posed in a bikini.
Captioning the photos, Laura wrote: "Half Term Adventures with my favourites! This week we are very excited to be reviewing two hotels in Paphos. Our first stop is @annabelle_hotel.

Both fans and Laura's celeb pals were quick to comment on the photos, with Tess Daly writing: "Looking [fire emoji] in @naia_beach."
