LAURA Hamilton has hit back at A Place in the Sun fans' top complaint as she pledge a big change for the new series.

The beloved Channel 4 presenter, 41, is a regular face on the daytime show.


It sees Brits looking to sell up and move abroad find their perfect home in sunnier climates.

While fans await the brand new series which is set to launch next month, Channel 4 have been airing repeats.

It's led fans to become skeptical about whether or not house hunters actually purchase properties.

Addressing the speculation, Laura has insisted there is “loads of people buying properties” in the new series.

She continued to Express.co.uk: “It's funny, because I always see these little clips that go round where people go, you know, ‘oh A Place In The Sun, does anyone actually buy it?’

"Well, actually, there are a lot of people buying.

“They're mostly watching old shows, but there's loads of great destinations and loads of great house hunters in the series – the new series started last week, I believe.

“So yeah, it's on now and there's some exciting news coming as well, so watch this space."

Laura first joined A Place in the Sun in 2011 and has become a fan-favourite on the show.

She also confirmed she has no plans to leave the programme.
