It is a murder mystery, set on a Welsh Coastline, about a man who finds a dying man, and is then embroiled in the case of how he was killed.

Before dying, the man asks Bobby Jones (played by Will Poulter) the question "Why didn't they ask Evans?"

Along with the help of his friend Lady Francis Derwent (Lucy Boynton) they look to see what the man meant by this and attempt to solve his murder.
