Ant And Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway will air at a new time tonight (18 March) as the programme moves to make way for a sports broadcast.
The Geordie duo’s hit ITV series recently returned for its nineteenth series and has been delighting viewers with its usual mix of hilarious sketches, pranks and competitions with huge prizes.
The programme usually airs at 7pm but will be on later as ITV airs coverage of the Six Nations rugby tournament throughout the afternoon and early evening.
ITV will broadcast the France vs Wales game, which starts at 1.55pm, followed by Ireland vs England at 4.30pm.
Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway will then air at the later-than-usual time of 7.15pm.
Tonight’s instalment looks to be as action-packed as ever, with Joe Wicks being controlled by the cheeky hosts for the Get Out Of Me Ear prank.
Joe has a lot to live up to as last week’s participant Claudia Winkleman provided plenty of laughs as she headed to Ikea while Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly ordered her around the store and cafe.
The guest announcer will be Oscar nominee Toni Colette and Scissor Sisters icon Jake Shears will perform the End of the Show Show.
Saturday Night Takeaway features numerous competitions for viewers at home and the studio audience to take part in.
This year, prizes include a place in the crowd at the final – which will be broadcast live from Universal Orlando Resort, Florida.
Saturday Night Takeaway will be followed in the schedule by Starstruck, ITV’s Stars In Their Eyes-esque offering, and The Jonathan Ross Show.
2023 is shaping up to be yet another bumper year for Ant and Dec, who recently hosted quiz show Limitless Win.
They’ll also be back on our screens when Britain’s Got Talent returns – with a brand new judge – this Spring.
