ARCTIC Monkeys have cancelled their Dublin gig devastating fans – and sparking fears they won't be able to headline Glastonbury on Friday night.
The band were supposed to perform to a crowd of 40,000 people at Marlay Park in Dublin tomorrow on Tuesday, 20 June.
However, frontman Alex Turner is unable to perform as he's sick with acute laryngitis.
Worried fans took to social media, concerned the lead singer would not be well enough to perform at Glastonbury on Friday.
One fan said: While another said: "Absolutely gutted, really hope Alex gets better soon and that all is good for Glastonbury. Please come back to Dublin soon."
The band took to Instagram to let their fans know and to apologise for the late notice.
They wrote: "We are extremely sorry to announce the cancellation of Arctic Monkeys' show at Marlay Park in Dublin tomorrow.
"Alex is suffering from acute laryngitis, and following medical advice, has been ordered to rest.
"Alex and the band apologise for the huge disappointment this will inevitably cause all their Irish fans.
"Full refunds will be credited back to the ticket purchaser's account by Ticketmaster within the next six working days."

The rock band's fans were all devastated after hearing the shocking news and sent their well wishes to Alex.
Halle commented: "I'm going to cry."
Ellie said: "Oh my god, Alex get well soon."
Regina wrote: "Crying so hard."
Gill added: "Get well soon dear Alex."
Marlay Park has been hosting gigs since 2001, when David Gray performed.
Giants singer Dermot, 31, is set to perform at the iconic Dublin venue this weekend on the 23th and 24th of June.
However, Festival Republic head honcho Melvin Benn believes the Irishman could have sold a week’s worth of concerts out all by himself.
Asked what acts he had his eye on this summer, he told The Irish Sun on Sunday: “Dermot Kennedy of course, it’s just phenomenal what he’s doing.
"He could have put all seven nights with Dermot on, he is that big, honestly.
“He’s enormous and everybody in Ireland wants to see him, it’s fantastic.
"And just being part of that community standing in front of the stage watching someone like him, it just gives you an incredibly special feeling.”
