LOVE Island star Ellie Spence has revealed that ALL of the Islanders smoked and vaped in the villa – but it was never shown on camera.
Love Island bosses brought in a smoking ban before the 2018 series, introducing a special area for people to take cigarette breaks.
To make sure no major drama could take place, the number of people visiting it at any one time was strictly limited and there was a camera there just in case.
It was brought in after complaints from viewers with ITV's Paul Mortimer revealing "more than 50 per cent of complaints about the show were about people smoking".
Asked who smoked in the villa, Ellie opened up about the protocol behind the scenes, which is kept secrets from viewers.
Ellie said: "Literally everyone smoked or vaped. We would all fight to go out at dinner time and lunch time. You could only really go at those times.

"I used to wake up at breakfast, I was that stressed. I was like 'let me go out for a vape.
"You'd have to ask and stand by the door.
"One time I just opened the door I was so stressed, no one was replying to me.
"Over the tannoy they said 'what are you doing?' and I was like 'guys, I really need one'."

Ellie has been leaking hidden moments from the show since leaving the villa in a friendship couple with Jordan.
Yesterday reality star told how Claudia Fogarty invited co-stars to wear her designer dresses – despite only knowing them a few hours.
Ellie was answering an Instagram Q&A when she was asked by a fan: "What do you think of Casey ending it with Claudia?"
She replied: "I love Claudia, she's so nice.
"Literally day one she came in and was dishing out all of her designer s*** – glasses and dresses.
"I was literally like 'I need a dress, I don't have anything to wear' and she just pulled out her wardrobe first day and said 'take your pick'. Love her!"
Going back to the original question, Ellie replied: "I'm bias I don't know the new girl.
"If they have a stronger connection what can you do, but I'm sad for her."
