THE UK's biggest night in television has arrived with the prestigious ceremony set to celebrate stars of the small screen.

Here's everything you need to know about the star-studded line up taking to the stage at this year's awards show.

Who is performing at the BAFTAs 2023?

As well as handing out awards, there will also be an exclusive performance from a well known Scottish singer-songwriter.

Lewis Capaldi

Lewis Capaldi will perform his new number one single Wish You The Best for the first time live during the televised event.

The 26-year-olds debut album, Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent sold over 10 million copies worldwide and became the biggest selling UK album of 2019 and 2020.

His BAFTA performance comes ahead of his sold-out tour of North America.

David Tennant to present BAFTA Award as nominations and start time revealed

In January 2023, the singer's track Pointless – co-written with Ed Sheeran – also reached the top of the UK singles chart.

Celebrating the accolade, Lewis told the Official Charts Company: “Thank you so much if you streamed, downloaded or listened to Pointless in any way. The support has been incredible. It really means a lot.''

Who else will be at the BAFTAs?

As well as a star-studded performance and prestigious awards, long-time friends Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan will also be teaming up to host the glamourous event.

Stars including Danny Dyer, Oti Mabuse, Sir Lenny Henry and David Tennant are also set to take to the stage to announce the 2023 winners and celebrate their craft.

When are the BAFTAs 2023?

Fans can watch the main event from the comfort of their homes on Sunday, May 14, 2023 on BBC One at 7pm.

The ceremony, taking place at the Royal Festival Hall in London, will finish at 9pm.

Viewers can also watch the awards live on BBC iPlayer.
