BBC Breakfast hit with major shake up as rarely seen presenters take over

BBC Breakfast underwent a major shake-up as two rarely seen presenters stepped in to front the show.

The much-loved morning programme returned for another instalment on Sunday (July 2) but things were looking rather different.

Usually Sally Nugent and Jon Kay present BBC Breakfast together from Monday to Wednesday each week.

Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt then take over from Thursday to Saturday, with two stand-in presenters stepping in to front the show on a Sunday.

And for this week’s episode – it was returning favourites Roger Johnson and Sarah Campbell who were taking the reins.

As though the new set changes weren't enough of a culture shock!
