Prime Minister Boris Johnson lost two of his senior members after both Sajid Javid and Rishi Sunak resigned on Tuesday (July 5).
Both MPs called for Boris' resignation as they left their vital roles, but the Prime Minister had an immediate turnaround as he welcomed replacements within mere hours.

On BBC Breakfast journalist Jon Maguire joined Jon Kay in quizzing MPs about Boris' continued time at 10 Downing Street, with Maguire interviewing MP Andrew Bridgen on air.
Bridgen wrote in January that Boris was an "existential threat" to the Conservative Party ahead of the vote of no confidence, which Johnson survived.
However, while Bridgen was discussing his thoughts on Boris, fans were immediately distracted as someone else cropped up behind him.
As activist Steve Bray cropped up on camera, viewers couldn't help but share their thoughts on his appearance – and his quirky signage.
Aside from his usual signage, one thing that had fans' particularly captivated was his depiction of the joker card from a deck – but with a mock-up of Boris' face on and 'Bojoker' written across the bottom.
Taking to Twitter, one user wrote: "This bloke with the signs is a personal highlight this morning."
Another said: "Steve Bray is at it again [laughing emojis]."
A third wrote: "Go on Steve Bray!"
Another wrote: "British gold on TV this morning."
He continued to walk back and forth behind Bridgen and Jon in an attempt to be somewhat subtle as he shared his true thoughts on the Prime Minister.
The signs were also hailed "incredible" as Steve was branded a "legend", particularly as he made his way from BBC Breakfast right over to GMB.
As Susanna Reid also reported on the latest news on the rival TV news show, she heard a karaoke song erupt from nearby.
The track was Bye Bye Baby by Bay City Rollers – but they didn't realise that it was Steve behind it until the song sang: "Bye Bye Boris, Boris Goodbye."
Both BBC Breakfast and Good Morning Britain have been filming live from 10 Downing Street or nearby to discuss Boris' time as Prime Minister.
